Wow, do I love the colors in this week’s Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge! They are absolutely beautiful colors and have inspired me to start thinking about Fall, even though here in San Diego it’s in the 90’s!!! Here are the colors:
Another reason I’m thinking about Fall is that in just 2 weeks I’m going back to Massachusetts and I’m going to be seeing all the beautiful leaves!! They call it “leaf-peeping season” and I’m going to be doing a lot of leaf peeping!
Let’s take a little “peep” at the leaves on today’s card 🙂 They are made from vellum and cut with the Autumn Accents Big Z Die. I folded the leaves in half and then scored them with my Bone Folder to create the lines. Then I colored them with Stampin’ Write Markers, and rubbed them with Sponge Daubers to blend the ink and get a realistic shading.
Thanks for stopping by today! Why don’t you join us over at Pals Paper Arts and submit your card? We’d love to have you!
Gorgeous card! The leaves look so realistic.
This is beautiful, Peggy! Your leaves look so real! Gorgeous design!

These leaves are gorgeous. It’s hard to believe that they aren’t real. And I love the background color you chose. TFS.

Peggy, your card is STUNNING! What a gorgeous piece of art!!
Wow, Peggy…this card is unreal! I LOVE it!
Your leaves are fabulous….the whole card is extremely FALL and I can’t wait for it to get here…I am in the Bay Area and we are still hot as well…supposed to start cooling off to the upper 80s but that beats upper 90s! We were down there about 3 weeks ago and the humidity was ugly….take good care and stay cool when you can! again, your card is lovely and the leaves are fabulous!
Wow, your leaves are so realistic! Such a beautiful card! And you’re coming to my neck of the woods (I work in MA, live in NH). Enjoy your leaf peeping! It’s one of my favorite things to do.
