HAPPY NEW YEAR! Here at Pretty Paper Cards we’ve dressed up formal for the occasion ~ cute little tuxedo bow ties and some sparkle! I wish you a wonderful New Year!
My husband is the one who said these little bows look like tuxedo bows. I didn’t even see it! But I think he’s definitely right, and now I like the card even more! You may be noticing little sparkles in my photos today. It’s a photo technique and I thought it would be perfect for New Year’s!
Of course you are seeing some sneak peeks of new items from the Occasions Catalog! I can see that I’m going to be crazy over the fun Bow Builder Punch. I can’t even stop using it! Not sure if you can see the hearts which are embossed on the Basic Black card stock, but it’s the prettiest new embossing folder called Happy Heart Textured Impressions.
The inside of the card is stamped with the new You Plus Me stamp set. It’s a great Valentine’s Day set. Don’t you love that cute little arrow with the heart on it that I stamped on the envelope? You can just stamp that little guy all over the place 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by today. And thanks to all of you who leave sweet comments for me. I really enjoy connecting with you that way. Happy New Year!!

Hi Peggy!
How does the bow look once you put it in an envelope? How would you mail this? Most of my cards are mailed or at least put in an envelope. It is very cute but just wondering about these issues.
Love your blog and all of your cute ideas.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Thank you, Jane! I sent you a separate email with the details!
Adorable bows and hearts. Love the hint of pink in the bows.
Thanks for sharing with us!
Thanks Lynn! You just can’t miss with hearts and bows 🙂
Really wonderful card….love all of the hearts and great colors…..the touch of light pink on the back of each bow is so sweet…..TFS…..happy new year!
Thanks Carol! The light pink you see is the reverse side of the designer series paper! Love it!
Ordering my bow punch tomorrow…along with lots of other goodies!!!! Thanks again for the inspiration!
Such a cute card, Peggy. I was wondering about mailing the card as well. Would you mind letting us know how you do this without flattening the bow? You always have adorable works.
