The Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge this week is great because it’s easy ~ yes, easy. You can do almost anything with it. It’s one of those sketches that’s fun and freeing!
So, for my card I cut the rectangle shape from Very Vanilla and edged it with one of the stamps from the Tin of Cards set. I love this border stamp, it’s hidden among some strong sentiment stamps, but it is a great versatile stamp.
These cute leaves were made with the Leaflets Framelits Dies and the Big Shot Machine. For the leaves I used watercolor paper and washed it with ink using the Aqua Painter. After the paper dried I cut out the leaves.
I’m sure you’ve noticed the pretty wooden element at the center of the bow. That’s one of the new Snowflake Elements available I’m the Holiday Catalog! It just looked so fall-ish made of that wood, that it fit perfectly with the theme of this card!

Great to have you Dianne. Thanks for the compliment!
Such an elegant and beautiful card! I love it! The leaves are amazing!
Thanks, Hideko. I’ve really been having fun with watercoloring. Give it a try!
beautiful……but I’d remove the snowflake attachment as it just doesn’t seem to do alot for the theme ‘fall’. Your work is one=of=a=kind & I love it all!!
Wow Peggy, you really hit a bulls eye with this card!! It is SO soft and elegant with your color washed leaves, the frilly border stamp and the out of this world bow…you MUST show me how to do that!! Hugs 🙂
