Purple Swalllow evieThis pretty card is a case (copy and share everything) from a card by Julie Kettlewell in the U.K.  It really shows off the beautiful Swallowtail stamp which is retiring on May 31st.  It really is such a pretty and detailed stamp, I wanted to use it once more before it retires.

It’s an easy card to make ~ really!  Stamp the Swallowtail on the left side of the card and fussy cut him on the right side.  Then stamp the flowers from the Birthday Blossoms on the right side of the inside of the card.

Purple Swallow insideAlso, you can make it in all different colors~a rainbow of swallowtails!!  Hee!  Above I used Perfect Plum, and on the card below I’ve used the pretty Watermelon Wonder.

The sentiments used here are from the lovely set called Thoughts and Prayers…perfect for this card!

There’s lots of sponging on this card, on all the edges.  Crumb Cake is the perfect ink for an aged look.  Just use a sponge dauber and sponge away!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Which color do you like more?  I’d like to know!  I think I like the Perfect Plum, myself…  I love your comments 🙂
