October is here and I’m excited! Fall is my favorite season! Even though I live in Southern California, I still get excited about all the pretty, rich colors in the stores and “slightly” cooler weather.
Kraft paper is a great background for rich colors. Here I’m using Rich Razzleberry, Cajun Craze and Old Olive. I stamped the leaves from the Vintage Leaves set and then used my Blender Pen to blend in the colors. I also added a bit of Crushed Curry. 🙂 Then I crumpled the leaves in my hands to give them some texture.
The frame was cut from Rich Razzleberry card stock using the Layering Squares Framelits Dies, and it was laid over a gold Metallic Foil Doily and a Delicate White Doily. I had some fun with the Rich Razzleberry Ribbon Trim: a 1-1/2″ length of ribbon was cut at one end into small strips, leaving the other end alone to tuck under the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful October!
