This past weekend was my father-in-law’s 90th birthday!  We had a special family dinner and I made him this endless (sometimes called never ending) card.  Our family members signed little cropped pieces of card stock and I was able to include them all on the card.  As you can see below, some of the family got quite fancy with their computers 🙂  He loved it!

The endless card keeps opening up and opening up and you end back at the beginning 🙂  The card actually opens three times.  The above photo is the first opening.  I put most of the family greetings here.

This photo shows the second opening of the card.  You can see that I have to hold it down with my finger to give you a good view of it.

And this is the back of the card.  When you open it from here (by separating it at the middle), you return to the front of the card.  Isn’t this neat?  Dad loved his card and I think it will be a treasure for him as he slowly reads the comments from the family.

I made a special envelope for the card using our Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board.  The pretty label on the envelope uses the labels from the Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit.  And, I stamped the letters on the label with the Brushwork Alphabet stamp set.

The endless cards aren’t that hard to make once you get the hang of them.  I’ve made several and they get easier every time!  Here’s a little video I made for you showing an endless card made with the Stampin’ Up! Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper.  This isn’t a tutorial, but it shows you how the card opens.

For a tutorial on how to make the card, I’ll refer you to a wonderful video by Robin Messenheimer.  CLICK HERE to go right to her tutorial.  Have fun!
