Wow! I’m so excited to let you know about this special event! My friend and fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Linda Foster, is teaming up with me to present a wonderful day of card making (birthday cards, thank you cards, holiday and fall cards!), food and fun here in San Diego!
Put the date on your calendars now (phone, planner…) and watch for registration to open next week. We are planning lots of fun things! If you just can’t wait 🙂 leave a comment or email me at peggy@prettypapercards.com and I’ll give you more details!!
Ok, now on to today’s card 🙂
Wanted to give you another peek at the fabulous new stamp set and dies (a bundle!) released early by Stampin’ Up! The Holiday Catalog doesn’t come out until September 1, but they want us to get excited!! So this month they’ve released a bundle early! Whee!
I decided to use Lemon Lime Twist, Gold and Black for my colors. It’s a fresh and new holiday combination! Look closely at the edges of the Lemon Lime Twist piece. That neat border was produced with one of the dies from the new Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies. These dies have so many options. Here is a photo of all the dies that you get with this set. I can’t wait to use all of them!
Pretty Pointer: Do you see the little gold dots on today’s card? Those come from a layer of Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate. I love these sheets! The design is gold on one side and silver on the reverse. Use these to add a layer of fun and beauty to any project — especially holiday projects!
New Feature on My Blog!
I’ve added a great new feature to my blog. To find out exactly what I’ve used to create this card, go to the bottom of this post and see small photos of each product! The best thing is that you can click on any photo to go straight through to my store for specific details about that product. And, if you want to order any of the products, you are right in my store and can just add those items to your cart! I’m hoping you’ll like it and that it will help you to identify just what you’ll need to create the same project!
I sure love your comments! I’d love to hear what you think about today’s post ~ CLICK HERE to leave me a comment!

Very nice card. This is a great bundle. I like your reminder to use the acetate sheets.
Thanks Brenda! Now with the holidays coming I’m definitely going to be using the acetate more 🙂
