Welcome to the Pals October 2017 Blog Hop featuring some very “Wicked Folds”. Thank you so much for joining us today. Sit back and enjoy the view while the Stampin’ Pretty Pals treat you with their wickedly folded projects. Whether you’re just starting the hop, or have come from a previous Pal’s blog, you’ll find the line-up toward the end of my post to help you move along.
My card today is a fun tri-fold card disguised as a regular card!
Who would know that this card unfolds with two more layers?
The card opens to reveal an inside full of pretty pumpkins from the beautiful Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper.
This pumpkin panel lifts up to reveal the third section of the card.
For the inside, I used the die-cut circle from the front of the card and affixed a banner with a nice sentiment from the Basket of Wishes stamp set. This is a fun fold and it’s a little surprise for the one who opens it!
I have a template for you so that you can make this same card. It’s super easy! Start with an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock. The “X” below shows you the section you cut out. The dotted lines represent the places you will fold. Each section is 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2.” Easy, right?

Yep, it’s pumpkin spice latte season ~ yippee! Have you had one yet? A pumpkin spice latte, I mean. I’ve had two, one hot and one cold, and they were delicious!
My card today features the Merry Cafe stamp set in the Holiday Catalog. It coordinates with the Coffee Cups Framelits which I’ve also used on this card. These are such fun sets, I really love them! The cup is sitting on top of a layer of the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper. This is on my favorites list ~ it’s one of my favorite papers ever!
The beautiful Peekaboo Peach Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon ties it all up with a bow. This card really demonstrates fall for me, full of color and vibrancy and yummy tastes and smells 🙂

The Coffee Cafe stamp set is one of my favorites in the Annual Catalog. And what could be better than another coordinating coffee stamp set with sentiments for fall and winter? Merry Cafe is that very set, and it’s going to be available to customers on September 1st!
As demonstrators we can get products early…and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this cuteness! For today’s card I’ve combined this new stamp set with the Coffee Cups Framelits which have been available in the Annual Catalog. I love this sentiment: “love is brewing”! So cute!! And the font is just downright sweet! And guess what? One of the other stamps in this set says, “Hello Fall! it’s pumpkin spice latte season.” You’re going to be seeing that one pretty soon!!!
I’ve also used some of our new Spooky Night Designer Series Paper, also available September 1st. Look at the paper used for the cup, don’t you love all those multicolored little dots???The Coffee Cafe Bundle from the Annual Catalog contains the Coffee Cafe stamp set (photopolymer) and the Coffee Cups Framelits Dies (see below).

Today is a Tic Tac Toe Challenge day and I have a sneak peek for you! I want to show you my FAVORITE stamp set in the new Holiday Catalog! Yes, I know you’re thinking it should be a Christmas holiday set, but this fabulous fall set has stolen my heart!
The set is called Painted Harvest and it comes as a bundle with a great new leaf punch! This bundle will be available starting September 1st. Do you have a copy of the Holiday Catalog? All of my current customers receive a FREE catalog in the mail. If you would like one, simply place an order in my online store HERE, and I will send out your catalog right away!
Here is the Tic Tac Toe Board for this week’s challenge. For my card today I used the far left column: burlap, flower, leaf. Click on the board below to go to the website and see what the other designers have created! 🙂
This card has several layers that all combine to give depth and texture. On top of the card base is a layer of Whisper White card stock (5-1/4″ x 4″) bordered with washi tape on the top and bottom, and stamped all over with a cute little dotted stamp that is part of the Painted Harvest set. This gives a sweet background for the main feature!
The main feature is this beautiful sunflower ~ I LOVE it! I stamped it on Whisper White card stock and then fussy cut it with my paper snips. It’s raised up with dimensionals on top of a layer of bulap wrapped back and forth. After I punched the leaves out with the spiffy new leaf punch, I tucked them in behind the flower with a bit of Tombow Multipurpose Glue on the ends.

Oh boy, I just love it when we get a new catalog!! It’s time for the 2017 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog and, as a demonstrator, I’ve been able to order new items early before the catalog goes live on September 1st. Now the Holiday Catalog features not only Christmas and New Year’s items, but fall and Thanksgiving and Halloween. It’s chock full of gorgeous stamps and papers and ribbons!
The first stamp set I wanted to play with is the Count My Blessings set. Today’s card uses my favorite stamp from the set ~ I just LOVE these flowers! Look at the way they are opening to show their little seed-like centers!
The colors here are Very Vanilla, Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Fresh Fig. I think these are going to be my go-to colors this fall. The flowers and leaves were colored in with a Blender Pen, putting a little more ink in some areas to create shading. A bow tied with Linen Thread finishes off the fall theme.
I love hearing from you! Let me know what you think about today’s post or ask me a question by leaving me a COMMENT HERE!

Welcome to the August 2017 Pals Blog Hop. Thank you so much for joining us today. This month we’re going to “Cut It Out”. Participants will feature projects with “cuts” from punches, dies, Framelits, Edgelits, or Thinlits.
Whether you’re just starting the hop, or have come from a previous Pal’s blog, you’ll find the line-up toward the end of my post to help you move along.
My card today uses both a punch and thinlits. Can you spot both? Well, the word “hugs” is cut with the Lovely Words Thinlits Dies. I just love the words on these dies, especially the one I’ve used today. “Hugs” is such a sweet sentiment for so many occasions. I’m going to send this card to a friend who hasn’t been feeling well, and it really expresses my thoughts for her.
Have you spotted the punched pieces? They are on the left and right sides of the card. That pretty lace is actually card stock punched with the Decorative Label Punch. This punch is fabulous because you can add these pretty little lacy bits anywhere on your card!
I have another “cut” to show you, and that’s the flower on the envelope! Using my Paper Snips, I cut one flower out of a piece of this gorgeous Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper. I glued it onto the envelope with a little Tombow Multi-Purpose Glue. I love to give a preview of my card on the outside of the envelope!
To see all the items used on this card, scroll down to the bottom of this post where each item is listed. You can click on any item to go to my online store and learn more!
