Oh boy, here we go ~ sneak peeks for the new Occasions 2018 Catalog! Yippee! It’s a beautiful catalog (they all are, right?) and I’m so excited to get started showing you some sneak peeks!
Last night I did two Facebook Lives (lost internet connection in between) and you can see some of the new products over there. Please CLICK HERE to go to my Facebook Page and view them!
Today’s card features the new Petal Palette Bundle, and I have to tell you I really really like it. It’s a bit too early to say it’s my favorite as I need to play with some of the other goodies, but I can tell you it’s going to be up there!
The leaves you see here were created with a super-neat die in the Petals & More Thiinlits Dies (part of the bundle with the stamp set). Look at those delicate tiny branches and leaves. I’ll be using these a lot. The sentiment was cut with a “frame” die that is also part of this set.
The ribbon here is the new Lemon Lime Twist 3/8″ Mini Striped Ribbon. It ties beautifully!
Are you excited? There is MUCH more to come and I can’t wait for you to see it all! Would you like a copy of the new Occasions Catalog? Just email me at [email protected] and I will get one out to you. If you are one of my customers, I’m sending a catalog out to you today!
THESE ARE ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH THE END OF THE YEAR!
Thank you for stopping by today! I love your comments, please let me know what you think of the Petal Palette Bundle!

Thank you for reading my blog! This card is for YOU, my blog readers. I SO appreciate you and thank you for supporting my work. You are a joy to me and I love making projects to show you 🙂
My card is for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week. I chose the last column on the right, and incorporated the elements stripes, thank you, and twine into my creation.
Any card made with the Floral Statements stamp set is gorgeous. The stamp does it all! It’s one of the prettiest stamps ever. Stamp it in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and color it in with Stampin’ Blends — that’s it!
For this card I used the Cherry Cobbler Blends in both the light and dark shades. Each of the colors of Blends come in the two shades. You can see on the flowers the lighter shade is in the middle and darker on the edges.

The Global Design Project has a fun color challenge this week! We are to make a card using Old Olive Black, and Gold (pretty, fresh colors!) Here is their challenge:
The card I designed uses a watercolor wash of Old Olive ink. I think watercoloring with a main color is such a good way to start off any project.
I then stamped some leaves from the Painted Harvest stamp set using Black Memento ink. The leaves were then punched out with the leaf punch and colored with the NEW!! Stampin’ Blends in Old Olive! Be watching on November 1st when YOU can buy these fabulous new alcohol markers!!!
I also punched some Gold Foil leaves and placed them over a bit of Black Vintage Crochet Trim. The watercolored panel was adhered onto a piece of Spooky Night Designer Series Paper. I love the black background with polka dots!! These colors are so pretty together, I wouldn’t have ordinarily combined them but they are WOW!!
Special FREE Host Gift Till October 31st!!
Isn’t this a gorgeous stamp set? I LOVE it!! It’s exclusive to our hosts who have a $300 workshop. It’s October and time for pumpkins! I love October, and Fall! Today I want to show you a simple way to make a pumpkin of any size.
All you need to make a pretty pumpkin is three ovals. You can die cut the ovals or punch the ovals with any size oval punch. Place two of the ovals to the back and one in the center on top, as shown above. I like to pull the tops together a little tighter than the bottom. For this pumpkin, I cut the ovals with the Stitched Shape Framelits.
This is a quick and easy way to make a pumpkin. Want a large pumpkin? Use large ovals. Small pumpkin? Use small ovals. It’s up to you!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Yeah, today is Tic Tac Toe day! I really like the Tic Tac Toe Challenge, there are SO many options. I mean, you can choose any one of 9 different options!! Here is this week’s board:For today’s card I chose the left column: pink, circle, vellum. I also used a few of the other items on the board like pattern paper, flower, and gold 🙂
There’s a sneak peek here for you…do you see these darling little leaves? They were punched with the NEW LEAF PUNCH!! And get ready because this punch is available to order starting tomorrow, September 1st! Yeah! I punched the leaves first from Lemon Lime Twist and then from Vellum, laying the Vellum layer on top.
The flowers were cut out with the Eclectic Layers Thinlits Dies. Do you see the little gold dots? Those are on the layer of Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate.
Pretty Pointer: Layer the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate over anything for additional bling! Here it’s layered over some designer series paper. It gives a subtle bit of bling!!
