Easy Thankful Gift Tags!

Stampin' Up! Painted Autumn paper Painted Harvest - Peggy Noe - stampinup

By now you probably know that this is my absolute favorite suite in the Holiday Catalog. I can’t help myself, I keep finding more ways to use it!!

Stampin' Up! Thankful Gift Tags Painted Harvest - Peggy Noe - stampinupThese tags are quick and easy to make. The beautiful sunflower is simply fussy cut from the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper. The green stripes are also one of the papers from that set. I added a few Garden Green card stock leaves punched out with the Leaf Punch.

Stampin' Up! Painted Autumn tags Painted Harvest - Peggy Noe - stampinupMy favorite way to make tags is to cut a piece of card stock (in this case, Very Vanilla) and cut it to 2″ x 4.” I slip one end of that piece into the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and it perfectly punches the top of the tag. Boom, you have a tag! The sentiment on these tags is from the Painted Harvest stamp set. I simply stamped it on a 1″ wide piece of Very Vanilla card stock and punched one end with the Triple Banner Punch.

Stampin' Up! Painted Autumn paper Gift Tags - Peggy Noe - stampinupThese are going to be darling tied on hostess gifts or little loaves of pumpkin bread. That’s what I have in mind for Thanksgiving…each person will receive a little mini loaf of pumpkin bread with this sweet tag! I’m excited!

Card of Comfort

Stampin' Up! Rose Wonder Color Me Happy - Peggy Noe - stampinupSo many times we need a comforting card to send to a friend. I needed a card like that recently. I love the Rose Wonder stamp set because it has some wonderful sentiments, and this verse is one of my favorites in the set 🙂

Stampin' Up! Rose Wonder Blends - Peggy Noe - stampinup

It’s a nice, comforting verse and I think it will encourage my friend. I stamped it in Black Memento Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock. Then I used a flower from a new stamp set called Color Me Happy, and I stamped three flowers around the sentiment.

Stampin' Up! Rose Wonder Color Me Happy Card - Peggy Noe - stampinup

I want you to see a close up of the flowers because I was able to use the new Stampin’ Up! alcohol markers called Stampin’ Blends. They won’t be available to customers for a while, but as a demonstrator I was able to get them early and play with them. I love the way they blend and move on the paper! Didn’t they turn out nice?

Stampin' Up! Rose Wonder Isaiah 4110 - Peggy Noe - stampinupAs soon as the Stampin’ Blends are available to customers, I’ll let you know RIGHT AWAY!! I can’t wait for you to try these fabulous markers!

In the meantime, I recommend the beautiful Rose Wonder stamp set. It’s one of my favorites! It has some great sentiments and a beautiful rose ~ how can you lose??  🙂

Fun Friend Card for Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Stampin' Up! Coffee Cafe Card - Peggy Noe - stampinup Tic Tac Toe ChallengeI love the Tic Tac Toe Challenges…they are so much fun! My card for this week’s challenge is a green, fall, friendship card (first column on the left)! Here is the board:For the “fall” element of the card I did a watercolor wash on Shimmery White paper using Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Berry Burst inks. After the color wash dried, I splattered some Berry Burst ink over the paper in little dots.

Quick and Easy Halloween Treats!

Stampin' Up! Painted Autumn Treat Bags - Peggy Noe - Painted Autumn

Are you looking for a way to make some quick and easy Halloween treat bags? It’s a snap with just a few supplies.

Stampin' Up! Painted Autumn Halloween Treats - Peggy Noe - stampinup

Use any treats you like. I love to use candy corn because it’s so colorful. I put the treats in cellophane bags, folded the tops of the bags and stapled them shut. Then I folded one Delicate White Doily on top of each bag and secured it with a decorated clothes pin.

Stampin' Up! Painted Autumn Fall Treats - Peggy Noe - Painted Autumn

The cute little pumpkin that is on the doily was fussy cut from a sheet of the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper and adhered with some Fast Fuse Adhesive. The same paper was also used to decorate the clothes pin, and a bow of Linen Thread was double tied on the pin. Easy, right? See all the products I used in the list at the end.
