Today is another exciting Tic Tac Toe Challenge! These challenge boards are so much fun. I love the fact that we get to choose the elements we want to use! For my card I’ve chosen the top row across: circle – summer – ribbon.
For the circle element I actually used two circles. The lower circle is punched out with the Sunburst Punch, and the inside circle was die-cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.
Pretty Pointer: Framing your sentiment always makes a statement. Whether your sentiment is on a square shape, a circle, or an oval, add a framing layer either in front or behind your sentiment piece. It will add a finished look to your project.
For the summer element I used the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper. This particular sheet of dsp has a light summery look which is perfect!
Ribbon, beautiful ribbon! That’s one reason I chose the top row across the tic tac toe board…I really love ribbon! In yesterday’s post I told you that the 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding is my absolute favorite ribbon in the new Annual Catalog 🙂 So when I have the opportunity to choose ribbon, I HAVE TO use my favorite, right???
So what about you? Will you come over and join us? The Tic Tac Toe Challenge is fun and easy and we would love for you to enter! I’ll look for you over there at tictactoechallenge.com!

Stampin’ Up! Products You Will Need to Make Today’s Card:
Stamp Set: Bunch of Blossoms
Ink: Watermelon Wonder, Flirty Flamingo, and Old Olive
Paper: Whisper White and Flirty Flamingo cardstock
Embellishments: Whisper White Baker’s Twine
The Bunch of Blossoms stamp set and coordinating punch helped me to create this fun card for any occasion! Stamp sets that include sentiments are the best ones because you have more options! This set has 5 different sentiments and lots of flower and leaf combinations. I love it!
To create this card I first stamped the sentiment in the upper right corner of the Whisper White card base. This gave me a guide for the rest of the card. I decided to use one of my favorite color combinations: yellow and navy. The Floral Boutique dsp is SO gorgeous ~ beautiful patterns in Night of Navy and Whisper White, the perfect choice for my navy.
To make the curled back corner, you simply use a bone folder to roll back the corner of the dsp before you attach it to the white base. Place the piece of dsp on a Stampin’ Pierce Mat and pierce through the pulled back corner and the base of the dsp. Insert a tiny brad to hold the corner back and then adhere the dsp to the card base.
Three petals were stamped and punched with the Blossom Builder Punch, and tucked in next to the brad. a bow of Night of Navy Baker’s Twine was placed on top of the brad with a glue dot to finish off the card.
Thanks for stopping by today! Leave me a comment ~ I love to hear from you!
