My On Stage Swaps!!

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to show you my swaps from On Stage!  These are the cards I created to swap with other demonstrators.

Navy and yellow are so gorgeous together!  The Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper has been one of my favorites this past year.  I used various patterns in the pack, so the cards all had a slightly different look.

Daffodil Delight is a great yellow, bright and clear. I used it as a panel behind the dsp and also as a circle layer behind the sentiment circle.

The Jar of Love stamp set has some good sentiments.  I love the way this one looks stamped in Night of Navy!

YOU can make this card yourself!  Here are some pointers for you!

Pretty Pointer:  This beautiful dsp is on the retiring list and I want to make sure you get some before it’s gone!

Pretty Pointer:  Use the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies to cut the two circle layers.  They give a finished edge to your sentiment!

Gold and Sugarplum Thank You!

Sweet Sugarplum is one of my favorite colors!  I love the name AND the color!  For today’s card I’ve paired it with Dapper Denim and gold…oooh!

What is that bit of gold in the lace?  Well, I was playing around and I layered some Very Vanilla 1/2″ Lace Trim with tiny pieces of a Delicate White Doily.  I adhered them to the white panel using Fast Fuse and a few dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I allowed the adhesive to come through the open areas of the lace and doily.

Then I poured Gold Glitter over them and pressed the glitter into the lace and doily.  When I brushed off the glitter, it was stuck in the groove and gave it a fabulous sparkle!!

You should give it a try ~ It’s not only fun to play with 🙂 but gives your card a super-neat look!
