Wow, I love the sketch this week at Pals Paper Arts! It’s easy to follow and makes a gorgeous card ~ any type of card! I chose to make a baby girl card, what are you going to make? Here’s the sketch for you:
There are some fun elements going on in this sketch: layers of different colors at the bottom, and the two tags coming out of the layers! Fun! For my card i used Smokey Slate card stock for the base, and the Subtles (Blushing Bride) DSP for the tags. Smokey Slate and Blushing Bride look so fantastic together!
Ruffles, vellum, lace, polka dots, ribbons and doilies – adorable for a little baby girl! Do you see the vellum flower on the right side of the card? I love using Vellum!
Pretty Pointer: Use Vellum in the same ways you would card stock: die cut it, punch it, emboss it, everything! You’ll get a soft look wherever you use it. Stampin’ Up! has some great White Vellum Card Stock you will definitely want to order!
Why don’t you enter the Sketch Challenge this week? Go to palspaperarts.com to enter! I’ll see you there!
