Today I’m playing along with the Global Design Project challenge and we are casing the designer. The designer this week happens to be my friend, Brian King! Here’s his card that we are supposed to case (copy and share everything!):
I knew right away that I wanted to enter this contest because PINK is my favorite color!! And, Brian’s card is so cute, who can resist trying to copy it?
Blushing Bride is a nice pink, and it has some coordinating glimmer paper that looks so great with it. That’s one thing about Stampin’ Up! — all of the papers and inks and ribbons and dsp’s coordinate color-wise, so you are assured of a beautiful project!
The glimmer paper is cut with one of the dies from the coordinating Starlight Thinlit Dies. They are so beautiful and intricate. I think they are one of the prettiest die sets ever!
Brian’s signature style is layered panels, so I made sure to add some Silver Foil behind the Whisper White and Blushing Bride panels 🙂
Thanks for stopping by today! Please pop on over to Global Design Project and see how other stampers have cased Brian’s card!

Thank you my friend!
The lovely pink star is over the two great gold lined layers! Congrats on GDP060 win!
Wow, Brent, thank you! So appreciate you stopping by my blog!
Peggy, I’m so not surprised to see this card is a winner. It’s so gorgeous. I love the way the star hangs off the frame. It’s so lovely that simple layers beneath are all it needs to shine even brighter. Just glorious – and Blushing Bride is my favourite pink.
Thank you, Jan. Give me some pink and I’m happy!
Peggy. I love this card too. I am a big pink fan and love stars. I am working on a CASE of your card and have a question. How did you adhere the star? Thanks so much. Mary Ellen
Hi Peggy Thanks s much for sharing. I love your cards, I have a question on this card. How did you adhere the pink glimmer dsp to the card? Thank you
