More sneak peeks for you! I can’t believe it, in just one week the Holiday Catalog will be live and you will see all of the wonderful new products for fall and winter and holidays!!

My favorite new embellishment is the Foil Snowflakes. You can see them in their original form on the right in the photo above. They come in gold and silver and they are to die for!! But, even though the gold and silver snowflakes are beautiful, for this project I wanted a red snowflake. So I turned one of the metallic snowflakes over to see that there’s a nice plain surface on the back! I took out my Real Red Marker and colored that surface with the marker and, voila – a pretty red snowflake!!  What do you think?

I just love the way it turned out! The back of the snowflake took the ink from the marker so well. The snowflake is layered on a Very Vanilla cardstock panel stamped with the Sheet Music stamp and covered with a layer of Vellum.

In the center of the snowflake I placed a circle of Gold Foil and another circle of Very Vanilla cardstock stamped with a sentiment from the Star of Light stamp set. Some red ribbon and gold mini sequins finished off the card. What do you think? I’d love to hear from you! You can leave me a comment HERE.
