Welcome to a new Tic Tac Toe Challenge! This week I am privileged to be the featured designer. Here’s the board I came up with. I put in some of my favorite things…lace, pink, sequins, ribbon…well, everything! 🙂
And because I really like using these elements on my creations, I made my card using every square on the board! Well, I challenged myself.
I think my favorite thing on this card is the sweet little bird. He’s from the Color Me Happy stamp set which will be available, along with the new fabulous Stampin’ Blends, on November 1st! I’ve colored him with the Light Pink Pirouette and the Dark Pink Pirouette Blends. You know, coloring is just plain fun, and using these new alcohol markers makes it REALLY fun! Isn’t he the cutest?
Fresh Fig is a great contrast to Powder Pink so I tried to stick with these two colors, and white. There are a few vellum leaves tucked in there, do you see them? They were punched with the Leaf Punch. I also added one stem of leaves cut using the Flourish Thinlits Dies – these are the lacy looking leaves.

Hi Peggy,
First off, thank you for your kind words on my blog.
I’ve loved my visit to your blog today but just had to let you know how WOWed I am by this gorgeous card! Combining so many elements is hard to do without it looking like a mish mash, but you rocked it and achieved perfect balance. The lace tucked along the bottom and the doily wrapped around the panel are my favorites, they dress up your card with beauty and softness.
Thank you Cindy!
