Hi there! How are you doing today? I’m doing great! We’ve had a bit of rain here in Southern California and it’s been nice. We are thankful. And I’m thankful today for this really nice stamp set, Petal Palette. It’s a popular set, and the bundle is a popular bundle, and I see why. It’s one of those sets where the stamps stamp clear and easy, everything turns out the way you expect it to, and the dies cut crisply around the stamped images. I love sets like this ~ quick and easy…and pretty!
I was in a green mood today (a good green mood!) so I used a few of my favorite Stampin’ Up! green colors: Old Olive and the newer Lemon Lime Twist. I think they look nice together.
The leaves are my favorite things in this bundle, both the leaf stamp and the leaves die. Leaves? Well leaves fill in places on cards, behind flowers, behind sentiments…things like that. And these leaves are tall and have several branches. That means when you cut leaves with the die they are tall enough to peek out nicely from behind things, and the stamped leaves are really pretty and look so good inside the card and on the envelope. What do YOU think of the leaves?
This is a fabulous bundle! It has so many options ~ there are eight (8) separate sentiments plus flowers, leaves and even a bird. I want to point out three things you may not notice about this bundle: (1) there is a die which is an elongated rectangular lattice, perfect for layering! (2) this is a great frame die for sentiments, it’s different from anything else we have, and (3) there is a stamp of dots in a rectangular form that is fun as a background stamp.
