Looking at all my my stamp sets that are retiring, I came to this one, Butterfly Basics. I almost cried! This has been a favorite of mine since it first came out. Not only does it have a few butterfly stamps,, but the other stamps in the set are seriously beautiful! Take a look for yourself:
I only used a few of the stamps in the set to create today’s card. This set is SO versatile! Do you see why I love it?
The main color used on this card is the retiring Peekaboo Peach. I’m trying to use everything before it’s gone, and this is such a luscious peach! The flowers are colored with the Peekaboo Peach Stampin’ Write Marker, the watermark and the sentiment also use the same color.
The honeycomb background piece was heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder. You can’t really see it in the photos but it gives a nice deep shine 🙂
If you don’t have this stamp set, it’s definitely one you need to get. I’m sure keeping mine for a long time. But, don’t wait too long as these retiring items sell out fast!
