Now that Harry and Meghan are married we definitely know it’s wedding season! And for me it’s time to make a few wedding cards! Stampin’ Up! provides us with so many products to make beautiful cards. Today’s card uses a few new products that I want to tell you about 🙂
This card is white on white which I think can be so pretty for a wedding card. The card base is made of Whisper White card stock and so is the 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel that is the first layer on the card. This first layer was embossed with the NEW Lovely Floral Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. This embossing folder is so beautiful, you could simply use this folder by itself as the front of the card.
In the lower right corner is a sweet lacy piece cut with the NEW Stitched Label Framelits (available June 1). This is the first time I’ve used these dies and I can’t wait to play more with them! The sentiment is from the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set and it’s been stamped in the lovely new purple ink called Highland Heather. Then it was cut out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.
Peggy’s Pointer: Use Whisper White card stock for layers, add texture, and use only one ink color to create striking Wedding Cards!

I’ve just made 1 wedding card. I love making them, but weddings are so few & far & in between.
Peggy, this is just lovely!!! I need several wedding cards and plan to case this beauty!!!
How dod you get such a deeply embossed design? Did you use the 3D plate? Beautiful
Yes, I did use an embossing plate in my Big Shot, but the Magnolia Embossing Folder itself is a 3D folder. It is one of my favorites!
