Welcome and happy Friday! Today is my Facebook LIVE Friday and I have a pretty tulip birthday card for you today! I’m showing it to you here, but we will make it together at 4:00 PM (Pacific) Live on my Facebook Page (CLICK HERE)!
The Timeless Tulips stamp set is so pretty, and for this card I’ve simply stamped and lightly watercolored with an Aqua Painter to achieve this look. I had so much fun working on the front of this card, I also did the inside of the card and the envelope!
This is a Distinctive Stamp Set which means that it’s very realistic. The Distinctive stamps are some of my favorites. I particularly like this set for spring and Easter. It’s just lovely!
After stamping and using my Aqua Painter, I did a bit of splattering some black ink over the card. I used the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and pulled the edge of the cap across the brush tip end. This creates the splatter. The sentiment was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a 1/2″ strip of Whisper White card stock.

This is beautiful. I didn’t like this stamp set and now you have made me want to put it on my wish list.
Thank you for being the only one who has placed the leaves in the correct place of the plant (that I’ve seen so far). I know it may not be a big deal, but I LOVE tulips and cringe every time I see them placed directly under the flower. Your card is amazing and definitely worthy of Mary’s WOW picks of the week! TFS
