The Peaceful Poppies Suite is gor-jus!!! All I can say is LOVE IT! There are so many elements to this suite. For today’s card I’ve used the Painted Poppies Bundle.
My two favorite dies in this bundle are what I call the “wild circle” die, and the scalloped-edge die. I used them both on this card. They are really fun dies…I think they add a bit of whimsy to anything you put them on 🙂
The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the coordinating Peaceful Moments stamp set. I like this sentiment that uses two different fonts in one sentiment. And it looks nice on the Purple Posy card stock doesn’t it?
One sheet of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper was used as a background sheet. A 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Purple Posy card stock was then adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the center of the DSP sheet. A 4″ x 3″ piece of the reverse side of the same DSP sheet was used as the next layer. The scalloped-edge die was then used to cut a piece of Purple Posy card stock. This piece was adhered to the bottom of the small dsp sheet and then adhered to the Purple Posy piece with Multipurpose Glue.
The sweet little grouping of poppies was stamped on the blue striped paper using Mossy Meadow ink. The poppies themselves were colored in with a bit of Blackberry Bliss ink using a Blender Pen. This applies just a bit of ink just where you need it.
