It’s March and that means…St. Patrick’s Day! To prepare our cards for this fun holiday, we need to learn how to make shamrocks. And that’s what we are doing today! That way you can create the cards and get them in the mail in time! Below is a re-run of my Facebook Live from yesterday where I show you how to make shamrocks!
To create the shamrock here, punch Garden Green card stock three times with one of the punches from the Heart Punch Pack. Then run the hearts through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with this pretty die from the Many Hearts Dies. Put the three dies together at their tips as shown using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The stem was created with a die from the Dandy Wishes die set. Trim off the upper portion and adhere the lower portion of the stem with Multipurpose Glue.
The “happy” sentiment uses a stamp from the Pretty Perennials Stamp Set. On the inside of the card you could write “…St. Patrick’s Day,” or something like that.
At the center of the base of the hearts adhere three large pearls from the Pearls Basic Jewels.
You can use any hearts, stamps, die cuts, to create shamrocks. Fun! Enjoy getting your cards ready for the big day!
I’m starting a new special for my customers. When you order any product in the Butterfly Brilliance Collection during the month of March, I will send you a FREE PDF TUTORIAL of a slimline card made with this Collection! I love to help you create the best and prettiest cards ~ and I think this will help you! You don’t have to do anything. I will see your order and email the tutorial to you!
Thank you for stopping by today! Happy Stamping!
