The beautiful Rooted in Nature stamp set and coordinating Nature’s Roots Dies are retiring. This is such a great stamp set that I wanted to use it one last time. Today’s card combines this stamp and die set along with a blended background. Here’s a replay of Friday’s Facebook Live with my special guest, Robin Daus, where she teaches her blending technique!
For this card I’ve used the luscious new In Color called Pale Papaya. A piece of the cardstock is layered behind the blended piece and a little strip was placed behind the tree ring. Pale Papaya ink was blended in the center of the card. Isn’t it gorgeous?
The tree ring was stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink on a piece of Cinnamon Cider cardstock and then cut with the coordinating die. The leaves were stamped on Just Jade cardstock in Just Jade ink and embossed and cut out with the dies.
I love the sentiment on this card. Wouldn’t you love to receive a card telling you that you are wonderful? So many people could use encouragement like this and it’s so nice to have this card on hand to send to them 🙂
