Who doesn’t love cupcakes? Cupcakes on a card with any type of sentiment are always welcome. I love the cupcakes in the Measure of Love stamp set!
These cute cupcakes were stamped in Crumb Cake ink and colored in with various Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers. Then the piece was cut with the Scalloped Contours Dies.
The background for this card is an Ombre Gift Bag that has been cut in half and run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder. The light pastel color of the bags makes a lovely background 🙂
The sentiment was stamped on Basic White cardstock in Fresh Freesia ink and then cut with one of the label dies from the Hippo & Friends Dies, Then a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock was also cut with the same die, cut in half, and then adhered with Multipurpose Glue to the back of the Basic White piece, separating the halves a little bit so that they peek out on the top and bottom.
The bags are very lightweight and a bit delicate, so after you run them through the embossing machine be careful when you glue them to the Basic White cardstock.
A piece of White Baker’s Twine was tied in a bow and a few 2021-2023 In Color Jewels were added for some bling!
