Happy 4th of July! Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you’re having a nice weekend. Today’s card expresses my sentiment for our country right now – peace.
This is a quick and easy card design and can actually be used for any occasion. Here I used the gorgeous 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer Paper. It is SO pretty! Each sheet is ombre, white at one end moving to the full color at the other end.
The card begins with a Basic White card base. A 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Sweet Sorbet Glimmer Paper was adhered onto the front of the card base. The stripes were cut from a piece of Tahitian Tide Glimmer Paper. 1/4″ strips were cut from the white end and 1/4″ strips were cut from the darkest Tahitian Tide end. They were laid across the Sweet Sorbet piece and adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from a stamp in the Perched in a Tree stamp set. I covered some of the words of the sentiment with a piece of scotch tape, leaving the word “peace” exposed. Then I inked the stamp with Sweet Sorbet ink. I removed the tape and then stamped on a scrap of Basic White cardstock. I punched out the sentiment with the Double Oval Punch, and adhered it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Thank you for stopping by today! Happy Stamping!
