Today’s card combines three beautiful colors to create a lovely wreath. The colors are from this week’s Global Design Project Color Challenge.
I wouldn’t think to use these colors together, but once I started working with them I found they are amazingly pretty!
Under the wreath is a piece of Basic White cardstock that has been lightly shaded in Bermuda Bay ink with a Blending Brush. This adds a nice look inside the wreath, almost like you are looking through to the sky.
The wreath is a piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock cut with a die from the Natural Prints Die Set. It’s adhered to the blended piece with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The flowers are from the Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper. Each flower was fussy cut from that paper. The petals of each flower were cut, separated and curled slightly with a Bone Folder. Then they were adhered to the wreath with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two different ribbons were used on the wreath. White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon was colored with a Dark Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends Marker. That bow was adhered to the wreath with Mini Glue Dots, and a second bow was tied from Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon and adhered on top of the other bow, also with Mini Glue Dots.
