Sparkly Blue Pumpkin Thank You!

These days pumpkins come in every color! Today’s pumpkin is blue ~ specifically, Balmy Blue, and it’s so pretty and modern. I love creating pumpkins in unusual colors 🙂

Blue isn’t a color I often use, but I just couldn’t resist this Balmy Blue pumpkin made with the Hello Harvest Bundle. And adhering it to a background of Tahitian Tide cardstock really sets it off. The pumpkin itself was stamped in Versamark ink on a piece of Shimmery White cardstock and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. It was then watercolored with Balmy Blue ink and cut out with the coordinating dies.

The sentiment is from the Soft Seedlings stamp set, stamped in Tahitian Tide ink. I tried to make this card a bit “spooky” so I cut a Gold Glimmer circle for the moon 🙂 Several embossing folders were used to create texture on this card; The Tahitian Tide piece was cut with the Scalloped Contour Dies and embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. That is set on a piece of Basic White cardstock embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.
