Today’s card is made with the amazing Country Wreath Dies. I love these dies. There are four different wreaths in this set and they are ah-maze-ing! Two of the dies are outline dies and they cut stamped images, and two of them are stand-alone wreath dies: one is a one-layer die, and the other one cuts multiple layers in one wreath.

Look closely at the wreath below. I’ve used the two stand-alone dies and overlapped them. The lower wreath was made by watercoloring Fluid 100 paper with Tahitian Tide ink and water using a Water Painter. The paper was dried with a Heat Tool and then I applied splatter with the Water Painter, and cut with the die.

The upper wreath was made by watercoloring Fluid 100 paper with Bermuda Bay ink. After I dried the paper with the Heat Tool, I cut it with the double-layered wreath die (it has two layers of leaves). Can you see how one layer of leaves stands up above the others? I pulled them up with a bone folder. This actually makes the wreath look triple layered!

My inspiration for the colors of today’s card is the color challenge at Global Design Project. These colors look great together!
