Spring Blessings Lighting the Way!

Today I’m thinking about Spring! It’s a clear day and when I opened the back door the birds were chirping. It almost sounded as if they were making a nest nearby, and I thought, isn’t it too early? It’s only mid-January. I’m not sure about that, but it prompted me to think about Spring!

So here is a Spring card using two brand new stamp sets: Lighting the Way (a darling firefly set) and Spring Blessings (a set I’ll be using a lot, but for this card I only used the sentiment).

The card starts with a Highland Heather cardstock card base. Layered on the card base is a piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock that’s been embossed with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder.

The design for this card was inspired by this weeks’ Global Design Project Challenge. We are to “case” the beautiful card shown below.

The sentiment from the Spring Blessings stamp set is stamped in Highland Heather ink and cut out with the new Something Fancy Dies.

The fireflies are super fun to put together! The dies are amazing and I could cut out different parts of the large firefly in different colors. That means…you can make a firefly any color you want!!!

For this class you will receive all papers to create 6 beautiful Valentine’s Day cards, cut and prepared for you, along with the pre-printed Scripture verses that talk about God’s love. This class will use the beautiful Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper!

Because of this, it can take about 2-3 weeks after the preorder deadline for me to order, cut, prepare and ship all the class kits. But I will get them to you as soon as I possibly can!
