Woo-hoo! St. Patrick’s Day is a few weeks away and if you know anyone who is Irish, it’s time to make a card. Someone told me that on St. Patrick’s Day everyone is Irish, so that means we have a lot of cards to make! 🙂
This card demonstrates how you can make a 3 or even a 4-leaf clover using hearts. Shamrocks (or 3-leaf clovers) are usually the first kind of flower that people think of when they think of St. Patrick’s day. The reason behind this is because it was said that St. Patrick, Ireland’s first Saint, used it to represent the trinity. But according to Google where I got this information, we can also use a 4-leaf clover.
I decided to make 3-leaf shamrocks. You can make these with hearts, any size hearts. For mine I used the smaller heart punch in the Hearts Punch Pack and some bright Parakeet Party cardstock. Put them together at the bottom tips leaving a small space between the sides. To add a bit of interest, I die cut a few tiny hearts from Shaded Spruce cardstock (using 2 matching dies in the Teacup Die Set) and adhered them to the larger hearts with Mini Dimensionals as a decoration.
Here’s the video tutorial showing exactly how to create this card:
Deckled Rectangle Dies cut the Shaded Spruce and Basic White layers on top of the card base. I embossed the white piece with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiment was clipped from a sentiment in the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set, and a bow was tied using the green twine from the Three Twine Combo Pack.

My Faith Creations Class for Easter this year uses the Rejoice in Him Stamp Set. I’m announcing this class early to make sure that you can all get the stamp set. It has sentiments that I love for my own Easter cards.
Usually I only create three designs, but for this happy holiday I was inspired to make four! The price of the kit is the same as most of my kits, but you will get to make two additional cards!!
For this class you will receive all papers to create 8 beautiful Easter cards, cut and prepared for you. This class will use the Delicate Desert Designer Series Paper, the Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper and Country Gingham Paper, all precut for you.
