Have you ever made a framed 3D paper project? It’s fun, and it’s nice to be able to display your art around the house. Also, this makes a lovely gift!
This project was made with the amazing Paper Florist Dies. These dies help you create flowers of all types and sizes. The set has 18 different dies that combine to make all kinds of flowers! I just love this die set. It’s one I will keep for a long time because it does SO much!
Here’s a close up of the flower grouping. You layer the petals – cut as many as you want. You can curl the petals using a Bone Folder. This makes them stand up and look more lifelike.
For these flowers I’ve used Cherry Cobbler and Poppy Parade cardstock, the leaves are made using Shaded Spruce cardstock and More Dazzle 6″ x 6″ Specialty Paper. Add ribbon and some gems and you have a gorgeous floral arrangement!
The paper behind the flowers is called Shining Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper. After I used it for this project, it sold out 🙁 But, any beautiful designer series paper will work as a background paper.
