Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is “It’s All About the Kids.” We hope that you will be inspired by the creations the Pals are sharing with you! Please check the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal!
I don’t very often make children’s cards, but I sure had fun creating this one! Bright colors and animals are sure to attract the kids! Here I stacked some cute little birdies from the Fluffiest Friends Bundle on top of each other. They are all looking at the big balloon!
The party paper behind the chicks is the Lighter Than Air Designer Series Paper. It’s perfect for birthdays! The banner was cut using the Filled With Fun Dies. I used several die sets and several stamp sets to create the little scene I wanted 🙂
The balloon is Calypso Coral cardstock cut with one of the balloons from the Beautiful Balloons Die Set. After cutting out the balloon, I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Songbirds Stamp Set in Versamark Ink and I embossed it with white embossing powder. It really stands out on the balloon! Then I added a bit of Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Three-Color Pack.
The sentiment says, “A little bird told me…” and inside, when you open the card, you see the rest of the sentiment, “it’s your special day!”
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month, when our theme will be “See How My Garden Grows.”
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
