Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month the theme is See How My Garden Grows. We hope to inspire you today with our garden creations! You will find the lineup at the end of this post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The best way to show you my garden is to put some of the sweet flowers in a wheelbarrow and wheel it up to you, so that’s what I did! The Garden Meadow Bundle has a super-cute wheelbarrow, and I just had to use it. It’s easy to stamp and color in with Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers.
The card base is made with Basic White cardstock cut at 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4.” Another piece of Basic White cardstock was added (4″ x 5-1/4″), and then a piece of Lemon Lolly cardstock cut with the largest of the Perennial Postage Dies.
To go with the red wheelbarrow, I added a sheet of the Bee Mine Designer Series Paper cut with the next size down of the Perennial Postage Dies. But before I glued this layer down, I wrapped the piece with some Black & White Gingham Ribbon tied in the front in a bow.
The wheelbarrow was cut out with the coordinating Garden Meadow Dies and set on a Basic White circle cut with the Deckled Circles Dies. Some Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers were added to the circle to fill in some blank space.
SNEAK PEEK!!! The sentiment is from a brand new stamp set going live on May 1st! It’s a fabulous sentiment set called Unbounded Love, and I really “love” all of the sentiments in this set! This sentiment was stamped on a piece of Basic Black cardstock with Versamark Ink, embossed with white embossing powder, and hit with a heat gun.
Every garden needs honeybees, so I had to add one to this card! The Queen Bee Die Set has the cutest little bees. Even though these dies are retired, I just had to add one of the bees in the upper-right corner! 🙂
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Please mark your calendars for our blog hop next month, when our theme will be Fun Family Occasions.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
