NEW VIDEO: Fun-Fold Masculine Card!

Today’s card is a masculine card. Actually it’s a Father’s Day card, but it could be used as any card for a guy. Truthfully I’m a bit late making a Father’s Day card for my husband, so that’s why I did this 🙂

The paper here is called Take to the Sky. There are airplane images on most of the fronts of the sheets, but the back sides of these papers can be used for anything else. The Copper Clay plaid is so pretty. I just love Copper Clay, and I’ve used it here as the 4-1/2″ x 11″ card base. After scoring at 5-1/2″, you adhere the pretty paper on the front.

A piece of Night of Navy cardstock cut with one of the Nested Essentials Dies was adhered to the front of the card, over the designer series paper. Then a another piece of the designer series paper was placed across the front. On top of that is the featured Wanted to Say Dies that say “Celebrate.” I like this sentiment because it’s a word die, and I really love word dies!

When you open this card, there’s a little pop up portion inside the card. Watch the video closely, as I give the specific measurements for the pieces.

For a guy card, I think this is quick and easy. Where I’ve stamped Happy Father’s Day, you could easily substitute another sentiment so that you could use this card year round.
