NEW VIDEO: Garden Meadow Sparkle Gate Card!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Global Design Project Color Challenge. The colors are interesting – they are colors I wouldn’t think to put together. But as I used them I saw that they look lovely together!

I like the Garden Meadow Bundle because it has gardening stamps and dies: a wheelbarrow full of flowers, rain boots, a water pot, and gardening tools. Those alone are great, but there are two dies that are what I would call “wow” dies – an intricate gate die set, and a fabulous window die!

The window die is one that can be used in SO many ways (I’m thinking a Christmas tree inside the window…). For today’s card, the window die cut a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper that I watercolored with Daffodil Delight stripes.

The gate on this card was cut from a piece Summer Splash Glimmer Paper. I wanted it to look like a sparkly gate that you would want to go through on your way to a “fresh start”!

August Class to Go
