Day 1 of 10 Days of Christmas!

Hello and welcome to Day 1 of the 10 Days of Christmas!! This will be 10 days of FUN – 10 days of cards and 3D projects – and tags – all to get you ready for Christmas! Let’s start with a card:

Today’s card is a fun window card! You can create a window and put anything in it, that’s what I love about a window card.

Begin with an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base scored at 4-1/4.” Cut a “window” in the front of the card with a Deckled Rectangle Die. Adhere a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock behind the window and then decorate the window as you wish!

I’ve been loving the color combination of Coastal Cabana and Real Red. It’s a different look, but still pretty 🙂 Inside the window here is a piece of Take a Bow Designer Series Paper. This makes such a nice background for the house!

The cute little house from the Humble Home Bundle is just the perfect size for the window. It’s stamped in Real Red and colored a little bit with Pretty in Pink Stampin’ Blends – just to add a some pink to coordinate with the paper.
