This week we have a great challenge over at Tic Tac Toe Challenges! Each week we have a new board and who doesn’t love playing tic tac toe? Here is our board for this week:
For my card I chose the center row across. Basically I wanted to use the Smoky Slate 1/2″ Gingham Ribbon (ok, I love it!) so I created my card around the ribbon! And, it’s interesting that the ribbon itself actually meets all the requirements of the middle row: it’s gray, it’s plaid, and it forms a bow!!
To create this card I’ve used two Sale-a-Bration items. The Amazing You stamp set is a FREE stamp set with any $50 order, and the dies that cut the word “YOU” are the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies which are FREE with any $100 order. I totally love the combination of these two ~ you can create all kinds of fun cards!
With the bold simplicity of the sentiment, we’ve just got to add a little softness, right? The tiny flowers on each side of the sentiment are from the Southern Serenade set in the new Occasions Catalog. This is one of my favorite sets right now!
How You Can Get These Items FREE and SAVE with Sale-a-Bration!
My recommendations for your order, to earn the two FREE Sale-a-Bration items I used to create today’s card, are the Stampin’ Blends Markers Collection and the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. These are two items that are really what I would call necessities for card making.
These are alcohol markers and they color beautifully. I use mine constantly. Now that I’m looking at today’s card, I see that I should have colored the flowers and leaves! I’m going to go back and do that! 🙂 Love these markers!
And then, the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. These are my go-to dies and I use them seriously every day. I used one of the oval dies on today’s card. These should be in every stamper’s collection.
These two essential items combine to a total of a little over $150. If you order these items you can choose both the Amazing You stamp set and the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies that I used on today’s card — for FREE! And, on top of that, with any order of $150 or more, you will receive 10% of your total in Stampin’ Rewards! That means you will be able to add to your order another $15 plus worth of additional FREE products!! Whee! What’s better than that?
Thank you for stopping by today. If you have any questions, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’d love to answer any questions you might have 🙂
This adorable card is a CASE from Tracy May, another Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. I saw this card on Pinterest and just knew it was the perfect card to send to a friend of mine who just retired.
I love that it’s feminine and delicate…and sparkly!! The Balloon Celebration stamp set and coordinating punch make this card a snap to make.
The balloon was first watercolored on Watercolor Paper with a light blend of Sweet Sugarplum ink and water. When that was dry, I stamped on the little dots and punched out the balloon.
Don’t you just love the sentiment balloon string? It’s SO cute! I actually think I’m going to make up several of these cards to have on hand for various kinds of celebratiokns!
Thank you for stopping by today! Please leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts!

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for July. This month we are excited to show off the new 2015 – 2017 Stampin’ Up! In Colors, namely, Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe and Watermelon Wonder. The In Color products include card stock, designer series paper, ribbon and other embellishments. We hope you find great inspiration from the projects.
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Mary Fish at Stampin’ Pretty, number 20 on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.
Beautiful Mint Macaron ~ that’s my favorite new In Color, and this card features it front and center! It’s a soft and sweet color that just begs you to use it!
Look at that gorgeous Dotted Lace Trim in Mint Macaron ~ ooh! And this color goes with EVERYTHING! You know when you’re out looking for shoes or a classic piece of clothing and you say, “It goes with everything!” Well that is just what you can say about Mint Macaron!
The background on this card is the pretty English Garden Designer Series Paper. It’s covered with lots of other colors and you can see how great the Mint Macaron banner looks with them. By the way, the end of the banner is perfectly punched with the Triple Banner Punch.
Thank you for celebrating these beautiful new In Colors with us today. The next stop is Debbie Mageed at Secret Stamper, number 22 on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting; I hope to see you on next month’s Pals Hop!

Happy 4th of July everyone! I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend and doing lots of celebrating!!
Personally, I’m relaxing and papercrafting! This was a fun card to make using my Stars Framelit Dies. The red and white stripes are from the In Color Envelope Paper in Watermelon Wonder. It’s so perfect for the 4th of July, don’t you think?
Thanks for stopping by today, and have a wonderful weekend!
