Best Dressed Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe

These Best Dressed Notecards are beyond adorable! They are little 3″ x 3″ cards with coordinating envelopes that you can use for gift enclosures, gift cards, or to tuck into any little package!

Today I want to show you the cards and envelopes themselves. These dainty notecards have printed fronts and blank insides. The coordinating envelopes have printed fronts and insides, and the flap is a half-circle cut with a scalloped edge. HOW CUTE?!?!

Peaceful Moments Poppy Card Stampin' Up! by Pretty Paper Cards

That’s the sweet sentiment on today’s card. This card was created with the Peaceful Poppies Suite which is one of the prettiest ever! There are so many options with this suite: 2 bundles, beautiful designer series paper, and more!

Today’s card uses the two stamp sets in the suite. The Painted Poppies Cling Stamp Set was used to create a tone-on-tone background for the rest of the card. And the sentiment was stamped using the Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set. The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink and then heat embossed using White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

The beautiful floral is a piece of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper. It is backed with a piece of Highland Heather card stock. The sentiment was heat embossed onto a piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock and then adhered over the floral piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Follow Your Heart Card by Peggy Noe

Follow your heart ~ let me encourage you today! Go for it! Do it! And have fun! I had so much fun creating today’s card for you!

Follow Your Heart Card Stampin' Up! by Peggy Noe

This sentiment from the Parisian Beauty stamp set is perfect for the theme of our blog hop. To create this ultra-layered look, I used three different die sets: the heart is from the Stitched Be Mine Dies, the filagree band is from the new Nature’s Thoughts Dies, and the white flowers were cut using the Poppy Moments Dies.

Follow Your Heart Card Stampin' Up! by Pretty Paper Cards

Highland Heather card stock gives the color background here. I love to use embossed Vellum when layering cards, and this was embossed with my favorite Scripty Embossing Folder. A small piece of the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper was my color inspiration~ love the colors in this paper!

Parisian Follow Your Heart Stampin' Up! by Peggy Noe

A square piece of Whisper White card stock embossed with the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder was added as a contrasting shape and color. And a scalloped Blushing Bride punched heart was layered onto the embossed white piece. A bit of Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and a Petal Pink Best Dressed Tassel were tied in. And to add even more bling, a few Champagne Rhinestones were sprinkled around.

Darling Valentines for Little Ones!

Children's Valentines Stampin' Up! by Peggy Noe

Today I’m showing you the Valentine cards I made for my niece and nephew. They are little, ages 2 and 5, and I know they are going to love getting these in the mail 🙂 There are two cards, one for a boy and one for a girl.

Dinoraur Valentine Stampin' Up! by Peggy Noe

My nephew loves dinosaurs, so the Dinoroar Designer Series Paper is perfect. I chose to use one of the papers that had pinks and reds for Valentine’s Day. This card is easy to make, as you simply cut out one of the dinosaurs with Paper Snips and adhere him onto the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp a piece of Whisper White card stock with the sentiment from the From My Heart stamp set using Lovely Lipstick ink. Punch out the sentiment with the smooth heart punch in the Heart Punch Pack. Punch another heart from Pool Party card stock using the same punch. Glue them together at an angle using Multipurpose Glue, then attach them to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Little Ladybug Valentine Stampin' Up! by Peggy Noe

For my niece I made a ladybug card…and of course she had to have pink wings!! For this card I used the Little Ladybug stamp set and Stampin’ Blends. It was so much fun to color! A piece of Lovely Lipstick card stock was punched with the scalloped heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack. A piece of Whisper White card stock was stamped with a sentiment from the From My Heart Stamp Set and then punched out with the smooth heart punch. The hearts were glued together with Multipurpose Glue and adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I’m SO excited for my niece and nephew to receive their cards!!

Two-Technique Birthday Card and Video!

Happy Birthday Heart Card by Pretty Paper Cards
Birthday cards with hearts are my favorites! This card is quick and easy and features two different techniques that I will show you on my FB Live video below. If you haven’t joined me yet for my Friday Facebook Live, I hope you will! I go live every Friday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time with a new project and some little antics with my Yorkie Elie 🙂 Here’s a link to my Pretty Paper Cards Facebook Page: CLICK HERE.

Now that you’ve seen the video, you know that Elie ate my sample card! Well, ok, chewed it. I was keeping it in a little plastic bin at her level. She hadn’t been chewing things, so I didn’t think it would be a problem. Wrong. She found it while I was teaching one of my card classes and had some fun playing with it (I think she was feeling left out!).

The two different techniques shown in the video are: (1) making a frame around a punched shape using the same punch; and (2) making a 3-dimensional item using a punch. These are fun little techniques that you can use in your own cardmaking!

The beautiful Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper was used on this pink heart card, as well as the card I featured last Friday. I love that the paper is called “Pleased as Punch,” because it coordinates with four different punches 🙂 Visit my online store to see this paper and other fabulous products!

As a reminder, here’s the card from last Friday that uses the same pretty paper and other coordinating punches:
