Some of My New Mini Catalog Favorites!

The Stampin’ Up! August-December 2020 Mini Catalog went live yesterday with so many gorgeous products! I’m super excited about this catalog and want to show you some of my favorite things — so far. I say so far because they are the products I’ve used and liked. But as I get more of the products and use them, I find that I fall in love with them too!! So, let’s get started!

The Poinsettia Place Suite

Poinsettia Petals Bundle Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe

This is a big and beautiful suite including several stamp sets, paper, ribbon, embellishments…everything you need to create beautiful holiday cards!

The Autumn Greetings Bundle
The Envelope Dies

This is my favorite of the fall bundles. I love the dies – you are only seeing the tip of the iceberg here – and the sentiments are in a modern fun font!

Also, the new Envelope Dies are absolutely essential! Look at the envelope liner and the scalloped edges of both the envelope and the liner! Love!

The Gift Wrapped Bundle

Gift Wrapped Stampin' Up! Pretty Paper Cards

This is such a fun bundle!! The Gift Bow Builder Punch is beyond fun, and the stamps give a great variety of possibilities!

The Plaid Tidings Suite

Plaid Tidings Card Stampin' Up! Pretty Paper Cards

To me, this is the most all-around useful and classic suite in the catalog. The Plaid Tidings Paper is beyond amazing! I bought three packs just for myself 🙂

The dies are also classic, look at that great scrolly label. It comes in 5 nested sizes, and every size is so useful. I love the coordinating stamp set. Do you see the stamps on the left and right of the label on my card? Aren’t they nice? (The sentiment is from the Autumn Greetings stamp set).

The Dove of Hope Bundle

Dove of Hope Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe

This bundle, as with all of them, does SO much! Here just the dies are shown, and they are a-ma-zing! Have you ever seen such a beautifully die-cut dove and wings? For this card the dove was cut from Gold Foil. The pearls on the dove’s “necklace” are Beaded Pearls from the Poinsettia Place Suite. I’ll be doing a lot more with this bundle!

Which of these do you like? I’d love to know! Please leave me a comment and let me know your favorite!

Prized Peony Cherished Friend!

Prized Peony Stampin' Up! Pretty Paper Cards

The Prized Peony Bundle and the Forever Fern Bundle are two of the prettiest sets in the new Annual Catalog. And when you put them together, wow!

Prized Peony Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe

This is a long card and it gives lots of room for all the leaves and blooms. Under the leaves a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper was spritzed with water and then stamped with the Forever Fern stamps in several green colors. The top and bottom of this piece were each trimmed with Whisper White card stock die cut with a scalloped edge die from the Peony Dies.

The peonies were stamped on Whisper White card stock with Calypso Coral Ink and colored with Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and the Color Lifter. Then lots of leaves were cut with the Forever Flourishing Dies and Soft Sea Foam, Old Olive, and Vellum card stock, and adhered under the edges of the peonies.

The sentiment is from the Lovely You stamp set, and was stamped on Shaded Spruce card stock in VersaMark ink. It was then heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and a Heat Tool and the edges were punched out with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.

This long card fits in a standard business envelope. I adhered some designer series paper to the envelope flap to fancy it up!

Best Wishes for Arrange a Wreath!

Arrange a Wreath Card Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe

Last weekend my downline, Robin, and I held a fun Zoom event where we made four cards using the Arrange a Wreath Bundle. We each designed two of the cards, and this is one of my designs.

Arrange a Wreath Best Wishes Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe

Do you see the sparkly long piece on the left? That is some Rainbow Glimmer Paper ~ woo hoo! Each 12″ x 12″ piece of this GORGEOUS paper is multicolored, moving and blending all the way through a beautiful array of colors. Here you see a bit of the greens, and the blues and purples. It also has pink, orange and yellow! It’s SO pretty!

On top of the Whisper White card base, there are layers of Pool Party card stock (dry embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder), and some Purple Posy card stock. The wreath is stamped in Highland Heather ink on Whisper White card stock and then fussy cut around the outside of the wreath. The Rainbow Glimmer piece (backed by another piece of Purple Posy) is adhered on the left side of the card over a portion of the wreath.

The sentiment is stamped in Pretty Peacock ink on a piece of Whisper White card stock and cut with one of the darling Hippo & Friends Dies. It’s then adhered with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals so it looks like it’s hovering over the center of the wreath.

Basket of Blooms Garden Card!

Basket of Blooms Card Stampin' Up! Pretty Paper Cards

We all need kindness today, don’t we? We need to give kindness and we need to receive kindness. That’s why I really like this sentiment from the Dressed to Impress stamp set.

Basket of Blooms Stampin' Up! Pretty Paper Cards

This card combines the kindness sentiment with the fun and summery Basket of Blooms stamp set. These pots remind me of some pots I have in my garden…pots that need a bit of love 🙂 The stamps in this set are sweet, and I think my favorite stamp is the twine bow that you can add to the pots. Such a nice touch!

This is a great stamp set for a flower lover! I see the flowers and plants growing in the pot, they are clipped and brought into the house in the darling basket, and then arranged in the vase for all to see!

Basket of Blooms Kindness Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe

Stampin’ Blends were used to color in the flowers, leaves and pots. That way we can choose the color of the flowers, right? And the sentiment is stamped, cut and backed using the Hippo & Friends Dies.

NEW VIDEO: Dove of Hope Fancy Fold Card!

Today’s card is a fancy fold square card with a circle opening on the front, revealing the sentiment behind. It’s such a fun fold, I just had to show it to you! The video below will show you exactly how to make it 🙂

The card base is Whisper White card stock cut at 8-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ square. Score the square at 4-1/4″ on two adjoining sides, creating four (4) scored squares. Placing the full sheet in front of you, you will cut out the top left square, using either a Paper Trimmer or Paper Snips. In the one remaining square on the lower left side, cut a 2-1/2″ circle using the Layer Circle Dies.

Dove of Hope Peace Stampin' Up! Pretty Paper Cards

You could decorate the card in any way you like. To decorate it like this sample, close the card and stamp the sentiment in the center of the circle using Magenta Madness ink. Open the card and stamp the ornament just slightly above the sentiment. Color the ornament using Stampin’ Blends or Watercolor Pencils. Stamp a few of the smaller doves on the edges.

Use the Wreath Builder Dies to cut a wreath out of Rainbow Glimmer Paper. Adhere to the outer circle using Multipurpose Glue.

Open the card further and stamp and decorate as you want to. Here I stamped a sentiment “Peace-Joy-Love” on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock. I used one of the Hippo & Friends Dies. Stamp the large sentiment in Magenta Madness ink on the circle you cut from the front of the card. Add some of the olive sprigs if desired.

Dove of Hope Stampin' Up! Pretty Paper Cards

Stamp the large dove on a piece of Whisper White card stock using Magenta Madness ink. Color the dove with Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends. Adhere to the front of the wreath with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
