Need some quick thank you cards? The Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper is just what you need! And it’s FREE now through the end of March!
To create this card, start with a card base cut from Whisper White card stock at 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2,” scored at 4-1/4.” Cut a piece of Painted Seasons dsp cut at 5-1/4″ x 4″ and adhere it to the card base with Tombow Multipurpose Glue. Reverse the paper and cut a strip 1″ x 4.” Adhere the strip (with the coordinating paper facing up) about 1/3 down the front of the card. The front and the back of each designer series paper are meant to coordinate beautifully, so all you have to do is use a bit of paper from the reverse side to create a gorgeous card!
Stamp a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock with the “thank you” sentiment from the Love What You Do stamp set.
This is such a great stamp set. It has sentiments in nice fonts…that’s always what I look for! I used Early Espresso ink for the sentiment. Then I punched the sentiment out using the Pretty Label Punch.
You can really use any of our beautiful designer series papers to create one of these cards. Stamp a number of the sentiments, punch them out, and have them handy. You can create some of these thank you cards in a flash! And don’t forget, this gorgeous paper is FREE with a $50 order!

Happy St. Patty’s Day! Today, I have the cutest dog from the Happy Tails stamp set to bring you a little shamrock.
This is such a great set for dog lovers and for many occasions! If you look closely at the stamp set, you can see all the fun stamps. Do you see the spot stamp to add spots to the dog? 🙂 And, the bundle has a coordinating punch to go with it!
The shamrock was created by punching three little hearts using the Dog Punch and arranging them together at the bottom. This is the sweetest little heart, you’ll use it for all kinds of things! The shamrock stem is a stamp from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and it is stamped with Granny Apple Green ink.
The dog and the ruff-ruff sentiment (!) were stamped on a piece of Whisper White card stock cut with one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.
Have you seen these dies? There are 13 different sizes of rectangles and each one has a stitched border! Wow!

The Beauty Abounds stamp set is full of wonderful images and sentiments! For today’s card I stamped the beautiful flourish stamp on a 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Shimmery White card stock using Sahara Sand ink.
The image was colored with Granny Apple Green, Calypso Coral, and Daffodil Delight ink using our Blender Pens. The piece of Shimmery White card stock was then cut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.
The pretty designer series paper is a piece from the Happiness Blooms paper. It has such fun little Calypso Coral dots on a white background. This paper is attached to a piece of Calypso Coral card stock and then attached to the 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ (and scored at 4-1/4″) Whisper White card base with Tombow Multipurpose Glue.
Some pretty Calypso Coral Satin Ribbon was tied around the lower portion of the stamped piece – and sealed with a bow 🙂 This ribbon is thick and luscious!! A gold Floral Romance Seal is tucked in near the top of the bow, The sentiment is stamped in Sahara Sand ink on a small strip of Whisper White cardstock with flagged edges. This is attached to the stamped panel with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then the entire stamped panel is attached to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Let’s make a simple card! Stampin’ Up! is encouraging us to create simple cards. They actually showed us a design very similar to this so I created my own card with their design! And, I have a video to show you how to make it!
Beauty Abounds is a beautiful stamp set with a great variety of stamps, and I’ve been having lots of fun with it! (Shh, don’t tell anyone, but for tomorrow’s Pals Blog Hop card I may or may not be using this stamp set!) The sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala stamp set.
These two colors are so great together ~ Soft Sea Foam and Gorgeous Grape. And I love the way the soft green supports the boldness of the grape. The wonderful thing about this design is that you can insert any sentiment, birthday, congratulations, anything! This is a very nice card to use over and over.
If you like this card, it’s a great time to order these stamp sets! We only have a few more weeks left of Sale-a-Bration and some of the FREE items are selling out. Take a look at the FREE items you can get with your order…
Hello friends! Today I have a sympathy card that was created using the new Lovely Lattice Sale-a-Bration stamp set (FREE with a $50 order). This stamp set is perfect for coloring with your Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers 🙂
The floral image was stamped in Sahara Sand ink on Whisper White card stock. The flowers were then colored with Light and Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. The insides of the flowers were colored with the dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend. The leaves were colored with Light and Dark Soft Sea Foam Blends. After the image was colored, it was cut out with Paper Snips so that it could be lifted up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. This gives depth to the card.
The floral image was placed on a watercolored 5″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Shimmery White card stock. This was watercolored with Soft Sea Foam ink. (Be sure to use this card stock when you watercolor because it is made especially for this purpose.) Behind the watercolored piece is a similar piece of Petal Pink card stock, cut to the same dimensions and then glued at an angle to the Whisper White card base (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″).
The sentiment is from the Lasting Lily Cling Stamp Set (also FREE during Sale-a-Bration), and it was stamped onto the watercolored piece with Flirty Flamingo ink.
Do you see the Vellum leaves tucked behind the floral image? Those were punched with the Leaf Punch and the Vellum was colored on the back with the Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend. I let the ink dry and then tucked the stems or the leaves under the flowers, adhering them with a few dots of Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
A few Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins were placed around the flowers. I didn’t notice when I was taking the pictures, but the sequin on the lower right of the flowers is kind of standing up on its side! Oops! Now I see it in all of the pictures!! 🙂
I hope this gives you some ideas of how you can use the Lovely Lattice stamp set. If you like it, be sure to get it right away. Many of the Sale-a-Bration items are running out.
Today’s card is so fun! It’s made for the theme challenge over at Global Design Project ~ “Sweeter Than Candy.” Who can resist creating a card that’s sweeter than candy???
It made me think of a wonderful grande peppermint mocha at my favorite coffee shop 🙂 And the Coffee Cafe stamp set was just what I needed! For the “grande” coffee cup I used some How Sweet it Is Designer Series Paper. And of course we need some swirly whipped cream which is Whisper White card stock run through the Big Shot with the Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Doesn’t it really look like whipped cream?
The cup is set on top of a watercolored panel of Shimmery White card stock. I roughed up the edges and added some specks of ink to give it a shabby look. This was then placed on a Whisper White card base with a piece of Daffodil Delight Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper.
The sentiment from the Detailed With Love stamp set is just perfect for this card! It is heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on a strip of Gorgeous Grape card stock. The ends of the strip were punched with the Detailed Trio Punch on alternating corners. Some Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and Iridescent Sequins finish off this yummy card 🙂
We are in the last weeks of Sale-a-Bration, the biggest sale of the Stampin’ Up! year, and you don’t want to miss out on all the fabulous FREE products. Have you seen the new products that were added?
