Petal Promenade has been one of my favorite designer series papers this past year. The petals, the flowers…they are gorgeous! Today’s card uses two sides of the same piece of designer paper. The Stitched Rectangle Dies were used to cut out the frame. The frame really sets off the flowers, doesn’t it?
This card also uses some of my favorite retiring 2017-2019 In Colors: Powder Pink and Fresh Fig. If you don’t have these colors yet, or you need to stock up before they retire on June 3rd, don’t wait to order! Here are the five retiring In Colors – click any color to see all the retiring items of that color!
Magnolias are all over the new Stampin’ Up! 2019-2020 Annual Catalog, and the Magnolia Memory Dies actually create 3D magnolias! I’ve been having fun making lots of paper magnolias and adding them to a wreath that I have in my craft room. Would you like to know how to create these gorgeous flowers? Watch the Stampin’ Up! video below to find out how.
Below is a picture of the completed wreath. This is an inexpensive wreath I picked up at a big craft store. Every so often I change out the decor on the wreath. You may notice that I attach the flowers to the wreath with mini clothespins. That’s because I want to be able to take them off later and replace them with something else! I do try to hide the clothespins 🙂
The Good Morning Magnolia Bundle is going to be very popular. The new catalog goes live on June 4th, so as you see sneak peeks and previews, it would be a good idea to keep a list of what you want to order.
Here’s a Wish List for you to download and keep handy for June 4th. I’ll be showing you more sneak peeks over the next few weeks, so get ready!
A sympathy card seems appropriate for this retiring stamp set, Lovely as a Tree. All of Stampin’ Up! has recently had a retirement party for this stamp set that’s been around for SO many years. And it’s only available for a few more weeks!
Today’s card is a gatefold card, the front is like a gate with the two sides folding inward to the center. The base of the card is Crumb Cake card stock. Each side of the “gate” was topped with a piece of Petal Pink card stock. A tree from the stamp set has been stamped on two pieces of Shimmery White card stock, one for each side. The trees were each colored with Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend Markers and then adhered to the Petal Pink pieces.
A piece of Very Vanilla card stock was adhered to the center of the card, and this is what you see when you “open” the gates 🙂 The sentiment on the front of the card is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set. It was stamped in Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla card stock and then punched out with the Classic Label Punch and attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. A few Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets were added to the front of the card.
If you don’t have this wonderful classic stamp set, be sure to get it now, before it retires on June 3rd! Click on the picture below to learn more and to order!
Today’s card is a sneak peek of a new bundle coming up in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog ~ it’s called To a Wild Rose! It’s a Distinctive Stamp Set and a two and three-step set. It has so many options!
The background piece here is the new Purple Posy card stock, and it’s stamped all over with a Distinctive leaf stamp. The roses are stamped with Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape using two of the three rose stamps, and then cut out with the coordinating dies.
The stitched label behind the sentiment strip is one of the dies from this bundle ~ isn’t it neat? I’ll be using it on a lot of cards 🙂 The sentiments are both from this new set too. If you love roses, this is definitely going to be the bundle for you!
While I’m showing you lots of new products, don’t forget about the retiring items. They are only available for a few more weeks! Yikes!! Click below to see what’s still available and grab it while you can!
Today’s card is a little sneak peek of a pretty new stamp set coming out on June 4th in the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. It’s called Butterfly Wishes, and I’ve been SO excited to get my hands on this set! The butterflies are just gorgeous! I’ve added some metallic thread under one of the butterflies and I have a NEW video to show you how I did it 🙂
Hope you feel more confident about using metallic thread now! It’s a fun way to add a little “pop” to your projects!

This month we are in for a treat. Paper Pumpkin has teamed up with Shelli Gardner, Stampin’ Up!’s board chair and cofounder, to deliver you a very special Paper Pumpkin kit. It’s exclusive, collectible, and one of a kind. You won’t want to miss this special edition.
When I was at On Stage in Charlotte I was able to see and put together one of the cards from this upcoming kit. I always love Shelli’s creations because her style is similar to mine. So if you like my style, you will seriously LOVE this kit! And, it coordinates with the upcoming Free as a Bird Bundle! Here’s the card I made. See the little nest on the front? Heart, heart, heart!
The look and feel of this kit is all Shelli. It’s elegant, feminine, and so full of springtime details that you’ll probably just want to take a walk, breathe in the fresh air, and then go home and stamp every card in the kit. And the box it comes in? We predict that you’ll be keeping it . . . like . . . forever. Wait and see.
Today is the last day to sign up to receive this one-time kit. I promise you will love it!
