Fun Poinsettia Thank You Tag!

Thank You Tag created using the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set by Stampin' Up! designed by Peggy Noe of prettypapercards.com #poinsettiapetals #thankyoutag #holidaytag

The Poinsettia Petals stamp set can do SO many things! Today I’ve used this set to create a fun thank you tag! These are tags that are going in with my Classes to Go! When I prepare a Class to Go, I create three different card designs for my customers. They will make 2 cards of each design. Then I create a tag, using the stamp set featured in the Class to Go (in this case, Poinsettia Petals) and make it as my thank you for each person who takes that Class to Go!

Thank You Tag created with the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set by Stampin' Up! designed by Peggy Noe of prettypapercards.com #poinsettiapetals #thankyoutag #holidaytag

This tag starts with a 4-1/4″ x 2″ strip of Very Vanilla card stock, punched with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, to create the tag base. A 4″ x 1-3/4″ piece of the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper was adhered on the front with Multipurpose Glue.

A 3-3/4″ x 1-3/4″ piece of Shimmery White card stock was stamped with the leaf stamp and Granny Apple Green ink. Then I spritzed it with water. When dry, I stamped the paper with the berries stamp in Melon Mambo ink, distressed the edges of the paper with a bone folder and adhered it at an angle over the tag using Multipurpose Glue.

Some leaves from the Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty Paper was then adhered, again with Multipurpose Glue. The sentiment is the upper portion of the “thank you” sentiment stamped on a 1/4″ strip of Very Vanilla card stock and adhered over the tag with Mini Glue Dots.

Fun Autumn Pumpkin Tag! (GDP #263)

Fall Pumpkin Tag made with Wild Rose Stamp Set, Autumn Essentials Dies and Sunflower Dies by Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe of Pretty Paper Cards

Today’s card is for the Global Design Project challenge this week ~ it’s all about fall! Fall is such a beautiful season, and on this tag I’ve combined leaves and pumpkins and sunflowers…everything that’s fall!

Fall Tag made with Wild Rose Stamp Set, Autumn Essentials Dies and Sunflower Dies by Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe of Pretty Paper Cards

The tag begins with a 4-1/4″ x 2″ piece of Pear Pizzaz card stock, punched at the top with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. Terracotta Tile card stock was cut with the Stitched Leaves Dies and then crinkled and adhered to the tag. Forever Flourishing Dies cut some Soft Sea Foam card stock leaves that were then layered behind a Copper Foil label (cut with the Hippo & Friends Dies).

Cooper Foil, Terracotta Tile and Basic Black Pumpkins were then layered with a Whisper White die-cut sunflower. The sentiment is stamped in Terracotta Tile ink on Whisper White card stock and punched with the Timeless Label Punch. The tag was splattered with black ink and a Water Painter.

Celebration Tidings Pretty Pink Gift Tags!!

Celebration Tidings Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe

Did you know that you can make your own beautiful gift tags? It’s time for us to start practicing for the holidays 🙂 Today’s tags are made using the beautiful pink Magenta Madness card stock, ink and ribbon, and they are gorgeous!

Celebration Tidings Tag Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe

Begin with a 4-1/4″ x 2″ piece of Magenta Madness card stock. Punch one end with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. This forms the base of your tag.

These thank you tags are made for my customers who preordered my September Class to Go. I always like to make them a special paper gift. These tags are stamped tone-on-tone (Magenta Madness ink on Magenta Madness card stock) using a pretty stamp from the Celebration Tidings Stamp Set. The “Always Grateful” sentiment is from the same stamp set and is stamped in the center of the tag with Misty Moonlight ink.

The little dots in each corner were stamped with Whisper White Kraft Ink. I save stamps with little dots. I don’t remember what stamp sets they come from (!) but I save them to use in times like this 🙂 Whisper White 1/2″ Faux Linen Trim (from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack) is run through the hole at the top of the tag, and a piece of Magenta Madness 1/4″ Mini Ribbon was tied around in a pretty bow.

So Sentimental Poppy Tags!

For You Poppy Tag Stampin' Up! Pretty Paper Cards

I really enjoy making tags, and today I thought I might tell you why. Well, they’re small, even tiny, and just cute! It’s fun to make a pretty little “scene” in a smaller-than-usual space 🙂 And, it takes less time to create a tag than a card.

For You Poppy Tag Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe

To create these tags, I used a stitched, scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (part of the So Sentimental Bundle) for the base of the tag. With the die I cut out a piece of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper. This pattern is just pretty and I wanted to use it as the “scene” of the tag. But the paper is a bit lightweight, so I backed it with a piece of Pool Party card stock, cut with the same die. Even though you can’t really see it in these pictures, it makes the tag more sturdy.

A Heart Doily was sponged on the back with Pool Party ink and cut down the center. I put one half of a sponged doily on each tag as a fun background item. I cut some bright purple flowers from other sheets of the designer series paper and adhered them to the tag, over the doily, with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped on Whisper White card stock and cut out with the tiny little label die from the set (so adorable!!). That was also adhered with Dimensionals.

A few sprigs were punched from Purple Posy card stock using the Sprig Punch, and slipped in under the purple flowers (adhere with Multipurpose Glue). Some Glitter Enamel Dots were added in for bling 🙂 I punched a hole in the center top of the rectangle and ran through some gorgeous Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Ribbon, then tied it with some Whisper White Baker’s Twine.

You can pop a tag on anything…tie it on a plant as a hostess gift, slip it in with a cookie or cupcake for a friend, or tie it on a package! So many ways to use a tag!
