Wow, that’s a mouthful, isn’t it…Tea Together Thank You Tags? 🙂 But it totally describes today’s project!
Do you ever make tags? They are so much fun to make because they are like little vignettes, you can create a story on a tag! The story of these tags is having a cup of hot tea with a friend, thanking them for something kind that they did.
These tags were inspired by a card on page 49 of the Occasions Catalog, and they use the Tea Together Stamp Set and the FREE Tea Time Framelits Dies from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog. Here’s a picture of my inspiration card from the catalog:
Tags are so easy to make when you use the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. It punches the scallops and the hole in a snap! Tranquil Tide card stock formed the base of my tags. On top of the base is another panel of Tranquil Tide card stock embossed with the Lace Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder. You know this is my current favorite embossing folder 🙂
The teacup and the rose were both watercolored using an Aqua Painter on Shimmery White card stock. It really only took a minute or so to do the watercoloring.
The teacup and rose were adhered to the tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals. This lifts them up off the base and gives them dimension.
A sweet bow of White 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon was adhered with a glue dot, and a tiny butterfly cut with the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies adds a bit of whimsy.
You can make lots of tags to tie on gifts or even to put on a card base to create a card. I used my tags as little thank you’s to those people who placed orders for my recent Paper & Ribbon Shares! They were shipped out in the mail and should be arriving as happy mail in inboxes this week!

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a great week!
Today I have two tags for you ~ circular tags made with different colors and lots of texture! The texture on these tags is provided by the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. In my opinion this is the prettiest embossing folder we have!
This tag uses Tranquil Tide and Lovely Lipstick card stock. These colors pair so well together! A circle of Silver Foil is inserted between the two card stock layers. The Layered Circles Thinlits Dies help create these fun tags.
The second tag uses Lemon-Lime Twist card stock. I think I like this tag the best because this paper is so bright and fun, and it really goes well with the Lovely Lipstick 🙂
Both of these tags use the pretty 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon in Lovely Lipstick and some 1/2″ Lace Trim. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set. This is a wonderful set to have on hand. It has lots of sentiments for all occasions!
The winner of yesterday’s tag is —Â Jody Tomala!! Congratulations Jody! Jody’ said:
“Your tag is adorable. What a fun set.”
Jody, please email me at [email protected] with your mailing address and I will get the tag to you right away!
Thanks to all of you who left a comment! I love your comments!!
The Making Christmas Bright Bundle is adorable! The stamp set and coordinating punch make the cutest little bulbs! They are small enough to put on a tag like this one, and they’re so festive!Â
For my tags I always use the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. It’s a “no-brainer” for tags. Simply cut a 2″ wide strip of card stock and the punch does the rest, giving it a pretty scallop top and a hole for a piece of baker’s twine or ribbon. I’ve used this punch SO much, it’s an absolute basic.
The base of this tag is Crumb Cake card stock embossed with the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Cherry Cobbler card stock was cut with the Delicate Lace Edgelits to add even more texture to this tag.
The bulbs were stamped in Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce ink, and the little tops were punched from Galvanized Metallic Paper, using the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch.
This is a unique and fun tag, just right for that special gift! Would you like me to send you this tag? I’m giving it away to someone who leaves a comment today 🙂 Leave a comment by clicking below and I will use the Random Number Generator to choose one of the comments to receive the tag! (Sorry but I can only send to U.S. addresses.)
It is time to make gift tags and I love to make pretty tags for my gifts! Here’s a tag we made at my card classes last weekend.Â
The base of the tag is a piece of Whisper White card stock stamped with the Buffalo Check stamp. This stamp makes the greatest backgrounds, especially if you like a farmhouse theme — which I totally do!! Add a bit of a Chicken Wire Element for more interest.
The highlight of this tag is the tree cut with the In the Woods Framelits Dies. I love the way there are little bits of the tree that open up to look like 3D branches! These “branches” have been topped with some White Embossing Paste which really looks like snow!

Lots of different ribbons coordinate with these colors of glimmer paper. I had so much fun trying ribbons with tags!! The ribbon below is the Copper & Merry Merlot Reversible Rbbon ~ it’s really gorgeous!!
The sentiments I’ve used on the tags are bold and yet casual. I think you need a bold sentiment/font to balance the glimmer paper.Â

Today I am sending out the first round of my New Catalog Ribbon Shares! I’ve packaged them in clear cellophane bags and, of course, they needed some pretty tags!
I just got the gorgeous new Petal Promenade Suite and had to use it on the tags!
Beautiful Promenade Photopolymer Bundle Item No. 148389Â $45

The Suite has stamps, dies, and beautiful designer series paper, and I tried to use all of it!! 🙂
The Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper forms the base of the 2″ tag. It’s backed with a piece of Whisper White card stock, and then punched at the top with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Then I started layering on pretty things!
The flower was stamped with Berry Burst ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder and cut with one of the dies. Some of the leaves were stamped and die cut, and others were simply die cut. I added some pearls on the flower for bling!
Here is the finished product ~ 40 yards of ribbon for $35 plus $5 mailing. I still have a few spots left in my Second Ribbon Share. If you would like to participate, email me at [email protected] with the words “2018 RIBBON SHARE” in the subject line. For all the details, CLICK HERE.
