Donuts Anyone? :-)

Stampin' Up! Birthday Goodness Donut Card - Peggy Noe - stampinup

The Birthday Goodness stamp set is just TOO CUTE!! I mean, seriously, do you love this donut cake or what??? This is a card we made at my local classes earlier this month, and everyone just loved it!

I’ve used the macaron cake already. If you didn’t see that post, check it out HERE. Do you see the little donut in the set? And, today’s card uses the cute streamer ~ it’s very easy to stamp and adds a bit of fun wherever you use it! Do you see it on the envelope below?

Behind the donut cake panel is another same-sized panel of Blueberry Bushel card stock. Behind that is a piece of Perennial Essence Vellum embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder. The cake is colored with Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers.

So to start off, the cute little pumpkins and the sentiment are from the new Gather Together Photopolymer Stamp Set. They were cut out with the coordinating Gathered Leaves Dies. This is such a darling fall bundle!

Another new item you’re seeing on this card is the Frosted Frames Dies. These dies created the Soft Sea Foam frame and attached foliage you see above. I added some Vellum leaves punched with the Leaf Punch, and some Whisper White sprigs punched with the Sprig Punch. The pretty dotted paper inside the frame is a sheet of the new Come to Gather Designer Series Paper. Aren’t you getting excited?!?

NEW VIDEO: Let Hope Be Your Anchor!

Today’s I want to show you the Sailing Home stamp set. It’s really a lovey set, it’s good for anyone who likes sailing or the ocean; it makes a good guy card, and the main sentiment is so encouraging. “Let Hope Be Your Anchor” is a saying that can help people who are in many difficult situations. It’s based on a Bible verse that says “We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul…” Here’s a video tutorial of how I made today’s card.

We all know how to make this into a card for a guy, so I created a card more for a girl. This card uses the beautiful In Colors Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray. I just LOVE these two colors!! They’re soft and pretty and look great together.

This is a cling stamp set with 5 sentiments and 7 images, including a really cool lighthouse that I plan to use soon!

The Whisper White Flax Ribbon here was pulled apart to create individual pieces that can be used in other ways. To get it started, cut a 5″ piece of the flax ribbon. Hold it horizontally in front of you. Cut off the top thread of the section using Paper Snips. Then begin to pull off the remaining threads individually, and use them as you wish. Here they are looped and attached to the back of the starburst circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Waterfront Friends!

Stampin' Up! Waterfront - Peggy Noe - stampinup

Today’s card just says San Diego, doesn’t it? Sometimes it’s fun to create a card that looks like where you live 🙂  That’s one reason I got this Waterfront stamp set ~ it has stamps that can create a San Diego beach scene! It can also create mountain scenes with evergreens…very fun!

Stampin' Up! Waterfront - prettypapercards - stampinup

This card starts with a card base of Balmy Blue card stock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2,” scored at 4-1/4.” The 4″ x 5-1/4″ striped piece is from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. Another patterned piece from the same dsp was cut to 4-1/4″ x 2-3/4.” This piece is backed on one side with a piece of Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen Ribbon, adhered under the right edge just so the ribbon edge shows.

Use the various stamps to create a beach scene on a 4″ x 2-1/2″ of Whisper White card stock. Adhere this piece to the ribbon-backed piecd using Multipurpose Glue, then adhere both pieces to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp the sentiment on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock in Terracotta Tile ink, and punch out with a 1-1/2″ Circle Punch. Clip to the upper left corner of the scene piece with a white Mini Library Clip. These items are all listed at the end of this post and you can click on any item to go right to my online store 🙂
