Today’s fun card is for this week’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge! These challenges are so much fun! There’s a lot of freedom in choosing three elements you want to use from the tic tac toe board. Here is the board for this challenge:
For my card today I chose the far right vertical row: wood, yellow, and embellishment. The wood was easy…the new Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack is perfect! The sheet I’m using here looks like a piece of wood with white peeling paint, love it!
Ok, so I’m crazy about the Oh So Eclectic Bundle. There are so many possibilities! The leaves here are stamped with a cross-hatch leaf stamp and then die cut with coordinating dies. And I love these flowers! You use two dies to cut the lacy-looking flowers, and then just one of those dies to cut the Whisper White background of the flower.
One thing I really like about using this Wood Textures paper is that it’s a super quick way to make a rustic shabby card (and I really like shabby!).
Would you like to try your hand at this week’s tic tac toe board? We’d sure love to have you! Come on over to tictactoechallenge.com!

Peggy I always look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations in the pals and this card is no exception. The little pearl clusters inside the flowers are such a wonderful touch.
Oh Corinne, thank you!
Hi Peggy – this is such a pretty card and I love your yellow die-cut, layered poppies! This is certainly a rustic charmer 🙂
I soooo love the whitewash wood paper in the Wood Textures DSP – I could take that as an entire stack on its own! Lovely work as usual – especially the pearl details inside the flowers. Fun!!
