Sparkle! Who doesn’t love sparkle? What a fabulous theme for our blog hop! A Gold Striped Treat Bag is the beginning of my “sparkle” project today. These bags are so much fun to embellish!

I used the pretty Berry Burst as an accent color and made a tag of Berry Burst card stock. The tag is adorned with a “lovely” heart cut from Gold Glimmer Paper using the Lovely Words thinlits dies. The gold really sparkles against the berry!

A strip of 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon in Berry Burst runs along the lower white stripe. Sparkly rhinestones line the ribbon strip.

Pretty Pointer: Do something different with your supplies. Use an item in an unusual way, the way the ribbon above is used in a way you wouldn’t expect. It gives an element of surprise to your project!

These bags are so nice for treats and little gifts. You can put almost anything in them. What’s your suggestion? Obviously, a cookie, a few candies, a nice bar of soap, some tea bags… I’d love to hear more! Leave me a comment and tell me what you would use this bag for 🙂
