I absolutely love the new leaf punch! There is so much you can do with it! For today’s project, I used it as a mask for embossing paste!
Today’s cards are the ones we made at our one-day retreat, Create the Day Away, and I couldn’t wait for you to see them! One of our demonstrations was on using embossing paste in different ways.
For this card we created a “mask” by punching a piece of Heavyweight Card Stock with the Leaf Punch. We laid the punched piece of card stock on top of the thin card stock panel and covered it with Embossing Paste. Lift up the mask and you are left with the embossing paste leaves!
We made both of these cards so that we could use a different arrangement of the card elements and a different sentiment on each card.
What do you think? Do you have any preference? Different options, different stamps, different combination of colors…and all quick and easy!
Give it a try! Punch your own leaves and use the punched piece as a mask for embossing paste. Send me a picture of your project ~ I’d LOVE to see it!
