When I saw this adorable pillowbox in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog I just knew I had to make it! It’s on page 23 if you want to look 🙂 So, of course I had to order the Wishes All Aglow stamp set for the cute ho-ho-ho lights, and the Trim Your Stocking Thinlits Dies that make the pillowbox.
The pretty olive and black paper is the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper. Love Love Love!! The lights are so darling, they just make me smile! I stamped them in Versamark ink and then embossed them with Gold Embossing Powder. Behind the lights are Vellum snowflakes cut out using the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits Dies.
The pillowbox is surprisingly made using these multipurpose thinlits dies. They create a cute stocking that has a pillowbox backing so you can tuck a gift card right in the stocking! Or, you can just make the pillowbox by itself, as I’ve done today.
