Hibiscus Thank You Card!

The new Happy Hibiscus Bundle is SO pretty! It’s an Online Exclusive that has recently been released. You can use it for any season, and here I’ve used it to create a holiday-themed thank you card.

The Happy Hibiscus Bundle has a stamp set with pretty flowers and some all occasion sentiments. I love stamp sets like this, as they are super versatile!

This Bundle also has an amazing Hybrid 3D Embossing Folder. This is an embossing folder that also cuts with dies at the same time. The die fits inside of the embossing folder so that when you run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, it embosses and cuts at the same time – very cool!! You can also use the dies separately, in the traditional manner.

For this card, a Basic White card base is topped with a layer of Gold Mercury Vellum (lucious!). That’s topped with a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock embossed with the Happy Hibiscus 3D Embossing Folder, and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. What a pretty background for the rest of the card!

The Gold Foil piece below the hibiscus flowers was cut with the Autumn Expressions Dies. The flowers were stamped on Basic White cardstock using Cherry Cobbler ink, and then lightly watercolored with a Water Painter.

The sentiment is from the Regal Flora Stamp Set. I just wanted a small sentiment to tuck in among all the other lovely things Some pretty ribbons and thread and gems were added to finish off the card.
