Welcome to Sale-a-Bration! Don’t you love these colors? These are some of the colors featured in this year’s Sale-a-Bration catalog and they look great together. I was asked to make a “Welcome” card and it came together so easily with two coordinating items from Sale-a-Bration: the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper and Ribbons and Buttons Pack.
The “Welcome” banners were made on my computer and printed on Whisper White card stock. I just love the contrast of the white with the pretty bright colors in this paper.
And for this card, I made a special envelope. It’s made using the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate on the Simply Scored Scoring Tool. Yesterday I used the Simply Scored Scoring Tool on the birthday card, and for the envelope today I just slipped on the Diagonal Plate and created an envelope. It’s easy and the directions for envelopes are included with the plate. What a treat for the recipient to open a handmade envelope! It’s like the icing on the cake!
Pretty Pointer: Use scoring to add interest to your project and to make coordinating envelopes!
If you don’t have a Scoring Tool, it’s a great time to order it! Also order the Diagonal Plate and one or two other things and you can get the Sycamore Street paper (or the ribbons and button pack) for FREE! Yes, that what Sale-a-Bration is all about–FREE STUFF!
Thank you for stopping by Pretty Paper Cards today! Now go make those envelopes!
