Today’s card uses the Beautiful You stamp set.  This set is really something different.  I love it!

These stamps are very artistic, they make beautiful scenes.  And on top of that, they are amazingly easy to stamp!  They give a clear crisp image.

It doesn’t take any time at all to make a great card!  For this card I stamped the girl with the umbrella, then I stamped some designer series paper with the same stamp.  I cut out the umbrella from the dsp and pieced it onto the umbrella on the girl. Super easy — and a big WOW!

I added a quick “sky” above the umbrella using the Sale-a-Bration set called Delicate Details (FREE with a $50 order!).  Then I stamped a sentiment onto a piece of Mint Macaron card stock and punched it out with a circle punch.  Quick and done!

Oh, I forgot…I used Watercolor Pencils on her dress!  It’s so much fun to color…so relaxing!  And, making cards is relaxing, don’t you think?  That’s something I really like about card making, it gives me a chance to get away into a world of colors and papers and lace (sometimes), and forget everything else.  What about you?  Why do you like card making?  Let me know, I love your comments!
