You’re probably going to see me using a lot of Mint Macaron over the next few months. It’s been one of my favorite colors for two years, and it will be discontinued at the end of May. 🙁
I’ve been trying different watercolor techniques lately. That’s a fancy way of saying I’ve been playing around with watercolors! Ha! I love watercolors but I’m too impatient to wait for them to dry!! I used my heat gun, but I think my paper still wasn’t dry when I took this photo.
The only colors on this card are Mint Macaron, Whisper White and off white. When you make a monochromatic card, it’s best to use lots of texture. Here I’ve added ribbon, baker’s twine, a doily, and some designer acetate, along with a pretty piece of Whisper White card stock die cut with the So Detailed Thinlits.
