It’s time for another Tic Tac Toe Challenge, and today’s card has a fall theme. I really do love fall, and I love to use fall colors. That’s why I chose the first row across in the challenge! Here’s this week’s board:
Sentiment – check; Fall Colors – check; Twine – check 🙂 And, I added a few leaves from Row 2 just for fun!
Leaves have so many shades. To get leaves to look at all realistic I like to watercolor and combine colors. For the leaves here, I used Crushed Curry and Peekaboo Peach inks with an Aqua Painter on Shimmery White paper. After the water dried I splattered the paper with Fresh Fig ink. Then the leaves were punched with the Leaf Punch.
The sentiment is cut from Cajun Craze card stock using the Lovely Words Thinlits Dies. It sits on a piece of the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper (love, love!). Underneath I tucked a strip of Fresh Fig card stock punched with the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch. And tying it all up in a knot is a thin section of Jute Twine pulled apart from the larger piece of thread.
