Hi there! Today’s card is for a good friend who is moving. She likes yellow and orange, and gold, so I created a card for her using those colors 🙂
Ok, so I love the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies (a free Sale-a-Bration item!). I really like the die-cut word “amazing.” It’s delicate and curvy and looks great on any project. And cut out in Whisper White it even looks a bit lacy, don’t you think?
Pretty Pointer: You can use Stampin’ Blends Markers with any stamped image. Be sure to use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink or heat embossing to stamp/set your image. This prevents the alcohol in the markers from blurring the stamped image.
Here I’ve stamped a flower from the Amazing You stamp set (also free during Sale-a-Bration) with the Memento Ink and then colored it in with the Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. Behind the flowers are a few vellum leaves punched out with the Leaf Punch.
For the base of the card I’ve used Whisper White card stock topped with some Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate. This acetate is gold on one side and silver on the other. Then I’ve used a Shimmery White panel that’s been watercolored with Daffodil Delight ink.
